I have no issues with Dr. Miranda directly. I believe him to be a knowledgeable doctor, although we really didn't progress with my hormone therapy. "We will call and let you know when you need to come in." That never happened. However, he abruptly closed his Katy office and I was told a month ago he decided not to open a new office at a new location in Katy (apparently the rent on the building became more than he was willing to pay). I was due my annual blood work so I got it done and they called in a refill. They told me on the phone that I would need to have the results reviewed so it would require a phone appointment. I told them I do not have $200 for a phone appt and believe it's unreasonable. Tuesday of this week I called for a refill because I only have one week of meds left. According to the pharmacy, his office told them on Wednesday they would fax the approval for the refill. I called today and the pharmacy still didn't have it. I called his office to see what the problem was and I was told I would need to come in for an exam before they would give me any refill. Hmmmm..... from Katy to Mission, Texas.... I don't think so! They wouldn't listen and insisted someone told me this last month! They are lying and I believe they are lying about their patients in their files! When I told his office today that I was checking into another doctor (in Katy) they said "oh, you found another provider" and hung up on me. All I had done was call another doctor and left a message asking if they accept insurance. Miranda's staff is completely rude once they know they are never opening another office there. They have my blood work results and I can't get into the website. I tried to get a temp password and it never sent me an e-mail. This office needs to be investigated at the very least! After they dumped their Katy patients they basically hold you hostage for a $200 phone appointment. If you don't do it, they tell you an appt for an exam is necessary. I guess that's their way to push you into paying them $200 for a phone appt. Worst mistake I ever made going to this doctors office.

Amazing Doctor!! A doctor that actually listens to his patients, and considers every possibility before choosing a treatment approach. Very knowledgeable . Truly a pioneer in the valley for wellness consultations. Helped me feel very good without using any medications! Simply finding a natural balance and letting my body do what it does best. Highly recommend

Dr. Miranda is AWESOME!! He helped me with all of my hormonal problems. He uses Armour Thyroid, treats adrenal fatigue and keeps up with lots of new medical treatments. He goes to conferences and seminars on a regular basis to become more educated in the field of integrative medicine and told me he used to treat his patients only with western medicine, but saw that they were not getting better. He started using integrative medicine along with conventional medicine and he saw things change. I highly recommend him!

I was referred to him by a doctor that I trusted. (You can bet that I told this doctor of Miranda's behavior.) He was testing me for ovarian cysts, which I have had for at least 5 years-no problems, very small. He kept repeating, "This doesn't look good, This doesn't look good." When I didn't respond, he asked, "What are you going to do?" I said that I would get a second opinion. He replied, "They are probably benign." Do you think that he planned to operated on me soonest? I do. (And I have a compromised immune system) Never went back. He does have an attractive office and asked me many pertinent questions about my medical history. I thought that I was just a $ sign to him: good insurance. I have Aetna also.

Iwent to see Dr. Miranda for pelvic pain which I have persist since my hysterectomy which was performed by another doctor who really did not know how to help me. Instead she kept on performing surgeries that I maybe did not need. I went to see him for hormone therapy and he has addressed every issue with me possible. Not in a very aggressive way because of my condition and I really appreciate that from him. I have gotten so much better and I feel that he is a great doctor because he and his assistant Shelly have taken the time to not only listen to me but helped get some part of my life back to normal. I know I still have a way to go but I feel confident that with there hehlp I will get back to normal.
