I can't say enough about Dr. Downs and his staff! I had Basal Cell Carcinoma, which left a large hole in my nose with the removal. I got in to see Dr. Downs quickly. His staff got me scheduled for surgery with him within a few days and the results are great! Thank you Dr. Downs and staff.

He was rude, didn't return calls, wouldn't address pain issues during recovery, possibility that negligence during surgery caused a serious complication that will be a complicated fix if it can be fixed so my implants don't fall to the middle of my chest creating a "uni-boob". Botched job on nipple reconstruction. At last appointment I felt he was ignoring my questions and concerns and when I asked him why he was doing this, he raised his voice and rudely stated if I didn't like the way my case being handled, he didnt need me and I could go elsewhere. He would cancel appointments only a couple hours from when it was scheduled, very frustrating for someone who has to make arrangements for someone to drive me and I have an hour drive.

This doctor is ALWAYS late. Don't expect to be in and out within 30min. You'll be waiting that long past your appointment time to see him. It's not just appointments either, if you book surgery, expect that to start an hour after your sceduled time. I would not recommend. The only good thing is the staff.

Doctor left me disfigured, he made several attempts to correct what he did and it just made it worse & I'm still dealing with issues this doctor left me with. I will never be the same.

I was very pleased with Dr. Downs and his staff, and the results of my surgery. Everything was explained clearly prior to surgery. His nurses were always very kind and pleasant. I never felt rushed and they took time to answer every question I had. He was delayed once - called in to do emergency surgery on an accident victim. I certainly can't fault him for that! My advice for anyone considering PS is to have realistic expectations. There aren't many of us who will every look 20 again, no matter how skilled the surgeon. Ask to see HIS before/after photos. Ask Dr. Downs what you can realistically expect, given your age and body type. DO NOT rely on Internet websites, which are often ads for other PS, with Photoshopped pictures. Do your homework, ask the tough questions and, again, be truly realistic.

Very bad bedside manner. Uneducated staff. Required second surgery to lack of technique. Had to pay for secondsurgery as well. Non caring MD. Would nnever recommend him to anyone.

I looked around for a PS for about a year before deciding with Dr. Downs.I had a areola lift on my left side and a full lift on my right side.I had silicone implants and areola size reduced.My surgery was September 2011.My goal was a perky full C and before walking into the surgery room I said "I would rather be too small then too big!"Left implant was mentorHP550cc's:Left mentorHP375cc's.Yes I was assymetrical but not that bad.So I kept going to post op appts and asking if they were still swollen and settled.By the end of the year I was over a cup size different between the two and needed a lift on the left.I went in unhappy and he offered to lift the left for cost of $1200.I needed more then that I was too big,saggy,uneven nipples,areola were mishaped,just not happy for $8430!My fix:DR.REVIS,FT Lauderdale,FL.$11,130 Full lift on both sides.Areola reduction/corrected.Pocket revised with full internal bra. Implants:Left 450cc's mentorHP.Right400cc's mentorHP.Don't Recommend Dr.Downs

I had breast augmentation in 2008. Went there in 2012 seen Dr,Downs and his staff was awful. He wanted to charge me 9,000 to have a lift and a new implant!!!!I could not believe my ears because the implants that where put in 2008 where saline above the muscle now they sag. I have lost weight the implants has stretched my skin which. They do a CHOP job there they want more and more of your money. I talked to them about this problem in 08 I thought that they where to big and did NOT LIKE THE RIPPLING effect. 08 my cost was going to be 6,000 NOW 9,000? Then I needed my records Renae told me that they DID NOT HAVE THEM. that they where in the Elkhart office, then I threw a fit Dr.Downs seeing me with OUT MY RECORDS?Then was told they have HALF of my record I said then give that to me.She did I SAID I WANT THE OTHER HALF RENAE SAID THAT THEY WHERE ALL THEY THEY JUST LOST MY PHOTOS. She would have to dig around for them,I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A DOC SEEING SOME ONE WITH OUT THERE FILE.
