My son was premature, also had blue spells and also had reflux but Dr. Coloso took the time to explain all the options, reason for the treatment, goals. He was very thorough and the staff were all very professional. He explained to me and my husband that there was an FDA recall on the thickeners (I think it is simply thick it) and only rice cereal is safe. He even gave us a copy of the FDA recall. He prepared us for the discharge and had us room in before so we will be comfortable at home and the staff gave us a CPR class which was very helpful and reassuring. We felt that our baby is being care for an excellent doctor and staff. We were thankful that were able to stay right here at home and stayed at the Ronald McDonald and did not have to go to Little Rock. Our experience is nothing but positive. I highly recommend him and we are very grateful to him for caring our only baby. I could not imagine what the previous review was talking about. Rice cereal is not made of starch. Sounds like a psycho parent! I am embarrassed with your English grammar and spellings. A lot of druggies in Fort Smith!!!!

He upped feedings drastically and it caused my son to have reflex, blue spells (periods of not breathing or apnea), and he was only 3 pounds! He went from 1 OZ to 2OZ in one feed! They added rice cereal to my breastmilk, There is an enzyme in mother's milk that automatically breaks down starches so not only was it POINTLESS but irritated reflex! When i heard my baby having stryder,he denied it entirely! I BEGGED for a test for Laryngomalaci, and he denied the test. Finally i requested a transfer to children's.They kept my son in an isolated room when he was choking and missed a few desats because they were "too full. He's on monitors, andthickener in formula.Everything they were doing was WRONG.If you had a good experience it's because you never had a premature baby before with the same condition so you didn't know better. How many babies will he endanger before he quits?http://kellymom.com/health/baby-health/reflux/ THANKG GOD CHILDRENS SAVED MY SON! This dr should have his licence pulled
