Dr. Wamsley cared for my mother throughout her Alzheimer's treatment. He couldn't have been better. As a nurse I knew what to expect and he did everything right. He was very willing to work with me regarding medications, etc. His staff was very helpful whenever I needed them.

so the first time i see doctor wamsley, he just thinks i have ms. then i was diagnosed by default by dr. albright-who was amazing. My first appt with wamsley after i was diagnosed consisted of this- "quit both your jobs. go to school full time to get a job where you can sit down all day. dont be as active, if you ever want kids-ya might wanna do it now.' keep in mind i was 21 years old. as of lately, i called on 2/13/11 about sympotoms and i was told id get a call back-I CALL BACK THREE DAYS LATER and i 'shouldve had an mri asap!' well thanks for telling me. thenm that friday comes along and they STILL dont have my results, but i was hospitalized on saturday and dr. wamsley comes in, with results in hand. which means he had them, because his office is closed on sat. then he puts me on steroids in the hospital, and i felt better. i go home-and he takes me off steroids. now i feel worse. BUT HE SAYS THERE IS NO CORRELATION. (to be continued)

Dr. Wamsley had my mother in the hospital for three days only to release her without knowing anything that was wrong with her. He was very uncaring and rude to her. Seemed like my mother was his last worry, and even made several unprofessional comments. He seemed very arrogant and had more important worries rather than his patients.

I've known Dr. Walmsley for years and agree that he can be very rude and arrogant. On the other hand, I had been having terrific headaches and he was able to treat me such that I no longer have them. He also discovered that I had a blood disorder and quickly sent me to a hematologist. So, I think he has talent but he seems to be distracted a lot of the time.

Very Rude. Barely walked into the room. Didn't care about my problem - old age - what do you expect. Wasn't in his building more than 15 minutes when he had me on my way home. Worst treatment ever had by a professional. May be very good Dr. but his manners and attitude need an adjustment.

I WENT TO SEE DR.WAMSLEY FOR A NEUROLOGICAL PROBLEM KNOWN AS TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA. HE SPENT A TOTAL OF 3 MINUTES WITH ME AND I WAS IN AN EXTREME AMOUNT OF NERVE PAIN IN MY BRAIN SHOOTING DOWN MY FACE. MY BLOOD PRESSURE WAS EXTREMEMLY HIGH 183/112 AND MY PULSE RATE WAS 90. HIS NURSE WAS CONCERNED BUT DID NOTHING. HE SAID HE SEES TWO PATIENTS A WEEK WITH THIS CONDITION. HE SAID HE THOUGHT HE HAD IT ONCE AND IT SCARED THE HELL OUT OF HIM BUT, IN THE SAME BREATH, HE TOLD ME TO TAKE THE ANTI SEIZURE MEDICATION AND TO DEAL WITH THE PAIN. HE IS TOTALLY UNCARING AND VERY CALLOUS ABOUT MY CONDITION AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO MY WORST ENEMY.

Dr. Wamsley is by far one of the worst physicians I have encountered to date. He treated me for an potential illness I did not have and failed to diagnose the stroke that I had for 3 days after I became hospitalized. When the MRI was ordered, the stroke was clearly indicated. His office staff is totally unresponsive and uncooperative. Dr. Wamsley's office failed to respond to my employeers request for information to determine my eligibility for short term disability. I didn't receive short term disability due directly to Dr. Wamsley and his staff failing to return several messages from the company that processes our claims in a timely manner. I would not recommend Dr. Wamsley to anyone. He is cold, has no bedside manner, has no idea who you are and why you are in this office - and has to be reminded each time why you are there to see him. Perhaps a quick look at the patients chart prior to entering the examining room to get even the basic information would be helpful.

After waiting an hour and a half to be seen, I demanded to be taken back to the room. I waited another 20 minutes. The doctor finally came in and failed to apologize for the wait, and in fact, he said, "I didn't even realize I was running behind." Dr. Wamsley's answer to my treatable epilepsy is always to add more medicine. After my second MRI, I had another doctor look at my picture, and he informed me that there was another option. When I described this to Dr. Wamsley, he said, "[The other doctor] is just trying to make money off of you." The last time I saw Dr. Wamsley, on 10/11/06, he had to be reminded that I had a brain mass--I have been his patient for 4 years. He was not aware, even after looking in his charts, how much my dosage of tegretol was. He is very callous. He often uses profanity. He once said to me, "Lots of people have seizures and are worse off than you." It is my opinion that this incredibly callous, uncaring physician needs to be reminded of his job--to care for patients. He clearly is on his own schedule, with no

I was referred to him beacause my doctor moved out of state. He saw me for 3 minutes and he must have been able to see thru my skin because he acted as if there was nothing wrong with me. I am on seizure medicine and have been having headaches and all he wanted me to do was buy a new matress for my bed because obviously i must be sleeping wrong. This guy has no clue what he is doing.
