There was no receptionist seems for months, the office desk was surrounded by stacks of files . The Dr was pleasant but did not have any of the test results , I had to ask to have them sent to him again.
He never examined me just talked and nothing was resolved said he would review findings and send to my GP and I would need a follow up
That was Aug 2023. Nothing was done . 4 months later I called and he had not completed his report . I called my GP several times asking for the report and they had nothing. Called today April 8 still nothing .

I have been going to Dr Dong for 10 years and found him to be excellent,caring and knowledgable.
Recently I had a Echo test at Jim Pattison outpatient care facility in Surrey and the technician commented on how Dr. Dong was a leader in the field of Cardiology.Admittedly his office looks disorganized with files stacked all over but he seems to have a system to find things.Surprised at some of the negative comments.

Not sure why this person is a doctor, he clearly hates people. I found him rude and unhelpful. He speaks down to people, and don’t you dare ask a question before it is your turn. I also work in health care, and I am floored and saddened patients will be treated by this person. And sad there are few options to choose from in our over burdened system. He doesn’t maintain client confidentiality as he is zero system for locking up patient records. I personally have a huge issue with any cleaning staff or other potent being able to access my personal records which may all around his office. Dr. Dong needs to retire. His bedside manner is poor, and his professionalism is terrible at best.

Seems to be a pleasant cardiologist . He takes the time to explain things to you and is not in a rush to get you out the door. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he is talking about when it comes to heart health.

Dr. Dong has always been courteous and willing to answer the questions. He didn't dismiss my ideas to my medical problems. He was one of cardiologist that look after me after my initial pacemaker surgery in the hospital. His concerns are genuine and recommendations are good.

Dong doesn't listen to you when you answer questions. He gave me no information as to my condition. No plan to treat it. His office has been closed and my GP can't access my records. Dong is a complete waste of time. I recommend you shop around before selecting this clown.

Very unsure about this doctor. Just sent me for many tests but never had any advise, never gave me any help, and never gave me a follow up appointment as to any results, just left me hanging and waiting. There seems to be a disconnect between Tex and Dr.Dong.

First time there, he was a no show. Second time he told me my condition was very bad. He could tell this with-out any tests. Other cardiologists have told me- with the help of many tests and check-ups that my heart is healthy. This Dr. is not recomended.
