when I originally saw Dr. Morton, I was at the end of my rope with my pain (Endometriosis). I had spent year after year after year trying to get to the bottom of my pain while dealing with infertility challenges, and depression on top of everything. I remember sitting in the exam room, waiting and thinking “here we go again”, expecting to be dismissed, told to see a psychologist, or just expecting nothing to come out of this and wondering why I even bother. I will never forget Dr. Morton's bedside manner. He listened to me and made me feel like I had options! After having so many doors close in my life in such a short period of time….I had options. Dr. Morton gave me all the time I needed to ask questions and spoke to me like he was a partner in my health…and my equal. Not a ‘know-it-all” like all of the previous doctors I have had the unfortunate experiences working with. Many doctors can learn from his example… My thoughts are with you Dr. Morton during your leave of absence.

Dr. Morton is an extremely good and caring physician. He doesn't impose a solution upon you; rather he reviews the pros and cons of a variety of options and lets you decide, albeit with a recommendation. Given how thorough he is (and the odd emergency) you usually have to spend some time in the waiting room than you would like, but Ashley is great in letting you know (if you call ahead of time) if he is running behind. I was very sorry to hear about his medical leave and wish him and his family the very best!

I first saw Dr. Morton over the summer last year and he was the first doctor to acknowledge that my fibroids were very large and that my symptoms were real not all in my head. I had seen a few doctors before who told me to lose weight, (which I'd tried) or since I didn't have heavy bleeding that there was no need to proceed with any treatment. Fact is, I was having symptoms for years but not the typical heavy bleeding that doctors usually consider to be serious. He was the first person to ask ME, the patient, what I wanted to do. He took the time to explain all my options, risks and possible complications, based on the size of the fibroids. I delayed my surgery for personal reasons and was referred to a different Dr. However he assisted on my surgery anyway. I found him very honest, bedside manner very pleasant despite his own medical issues. I am grateful that he was my doctor in the beginning and even assisted later. He is an excellent doctor. I hope he pulls through! God Bless Him!

Well I guess I am different. My experience with Dr. Morton was not pleasant. I found him cold and not a very good listener. He did not help me very much with my pregnancy. I waited most of the time over an hour for a 5 min visit with him, in which, he dismissed most of my concerns (example Gestational Diabetes test)and was not helpful in answer questions and fears. Was transferred to another doctor at the end of my pregnancy due to Dr. Mortons medical leave and it was like night and day. This new dr. helped me, regarding questions etc. This new dr even helped me off the exam table and help me with the ultrasound goo instead of handing me one tissue to do the job. Dr. Morton needs to learn some bed side manners and listen to his patients. His secretary Ashley is useless and has an terrible attitude. Most of the time I was reminding them and telling them (dr. and secretary) what was going on. Please find another dr. This two are not worth it!! Dr. Bernstein is fantastic.

Dr. Morton is a great OBGYN. He was my doctor through both my pregnancies and I have nothing great things to say. He is compassionate and clearly loves what he does. His assistant Ashley is very sweet and professional. And I recommend them to any one expecting a baby and looking for a Doctor.

Dr Morton performed my myomectomy a few months ago and he did an amazing job. I had no complications, very little pain during recovery, and my incision is fading already. Great doctor.
