I had what my internist called "an inflamed throat" and referred me to Dr. Colman. Dr. Colman briefly checked my throat and told me I was suffering from GERD, even though I told him I did not have the usual symptoms for GERD, that there was a strong possibility my throat hurt from a reaction to a sulfa drug. He insisted he was right and immediately wrote a prescription for multiple medications to treat GERD. I switched doctors and learned he was wrong! I would not ever recommend a pompous doctor like him.

If it was possible to give no stars to Marc F. Colman and revoke his license, I'd do it. I am posting this review because I deeply care about others and I do want NO ONE to see this doctor ever again.

Marc saw my mom and few years ago. He diagnosed her with acid reflux, which she had NO signs of, and kept prescribing PPIs (multiple). Her one and only symptom was a hacking cough, yet he failed to run a chest x-ray or any tests at all for that matter and insisted over and again that his diagnosis was correct. In other words, he was too cocky and hot-headed to consult another doc even though her primary symptom did not line up WHATSOEVER with the treatment she was receiving and relentlessly being assured was correct.

Fast forward to a second opinion and we learn my mother has cancer. Dr. Colman wasted precious years of treatment time because he was so overconfident that he refused to provide her with any testing, referrals, or to enlist another doc. All he did was insist that he was right and there was no need for a second opinion.

I know that writing this won't cure my mother, but I beg you, do not see this man. He has a God complex and fails to run the most basically indicated tests. And in the case of my mother, he may have cost her her life.

To add insult to injury, after her diagnosis my mother was in the same building for something else. She ran into Dr. Colman in the elevator. Because my mother is polite, she waited for everyone to exit the elevator before addressing him. She told him she had cancer. He said nothing. Not even sorry. Not even good luck.

My mother wasted two years treating something she did have and he missed something she did have because she trusted him and because he so was adamant and insistent and overconfident he didn't even bother to run the most basic of screenings or refer her.

PLEASE, I BEG YOU, DO NOT USE DR. COLMAN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. HE IS INCOMPETENT, HAUGHTY, INSENSITIVE, AND DOES NOT KNOW BASIC MEDICAL PRACTICES.

I DO NOT WANT ONE MORE PERSON TO EXPERIENCE WHAT MY MOTHER EXPERIENCED WITH THIS MAN. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.

He is very knowledgable. He did my son's tonsillectomy and adnoidectomy and was great. I am now seeing him myself for sleep disorders. He really knows what he's doing.

I left the office feeling like my questions were ignored and unanswered. I felt like his attitude was condescending and he definitely over billed me and under served me. He gave me medications with out even explain what they were or the proper way to do it, possibly hoping for them to fail assuring my return. Luckily I changed doctors. But my problem was minor and not surgical, so maybe for bigger problems he's much better?

This doctor came highly recommended by a very reputable local surgeon. His behavior and demeanor were strange and he was nervous and somewhat forgetful and disorganize. He would not discuss treatment and told me to speak to his staff. Strange!!!
