Dr. Frost, aka, Dr. Frosty A*@, as some of his previous nurses and staff refer to him, was rude and ignorant at every visit. Despite my mom, the patient, and the family's concerns was unwilling to listen to the real problem or explore further options. He frequently and rudely said to "be quiet", put his hand up to say "stop".
Symptoms grew EXPONENTIALLY over the course of 4 years. Dr. Frost changed her medicines 4 TIMES in 30 days without ever having seen her, run tests, etc. She hadn't even had a routine EEG for some years. My mom eventually became so incapacitated and dizzy that she could not see, stand, walk, care for herself. Her cognition and memory appeared to be heading toward dementia.
Taking matters into our own hands, we went to strong in Rochester and sought out the Cleveland Clinic.
We visited several hospitals, had several workups with no resolution. Doctors kept saying "It can't possibly be from the medicine".
The family had long suspected it was caused by her medicine, and as a last resort, decided to discontinue the medicine on our own without medical approval. Within 2 weeks of stopping one of her medicines and lowering the dose of the other, she resumed FULL functioning.
We will not ever return to Dr. Frost and I hope the best for other patients depending on care.

Finally discovered it was toxicity build up from her seizure medicine causing ALL OF THE whole body symptoms and problems. And we only discovered this after

I don’t say this lightly but Frost is incompetent. During 2 different visits he had someone else’s chart. During another visit , mobile eeg results were not mine. He ordered an unnecessary test that caused intense pain and impacted me for several weeks after. He disparaged my neurosurgeon saying that surgeon was wrong about having strokes and unnecessarily put in two stents. My neurosurgeon is recognized world wide as a leader in brain surgery. If you have suffered a brain injury I would recommend going to a Dr. at a different practice.

If I could give Marc Frost a zero I would. I was transferred to him after my Neurologist retired in 2019. I saw Dr. Frost ONE time in the Fall of 2019. My family member that went with me was not impressed. Frost NEVER prescribed any medication since I had refills from my other Neurologist. In the Fall of 2020 my husband was informed that they did not take my insurance. So I transferred to a new neurologist. I then wanted to come back to Dent. I told them I wanted a different neurologist. I was told that the headache center saw patients with different medical conditions. I reiterated I needed to see a Dr that dealt with Epilepsy. I was then called January 2021. I was then informed Dent ONLY saw patients in the headache center for headaches. I was informed only pediatrics see Dr's for array of medical conditions at the headache center. I was very upset at this point. I was then informed Dr. Frost magically took my insurance again after being told he didn't in the Fall. I informed the woman receptionist I don't want to see Frost. I hung up amd she would call me back. Saying the phones weren't working. Yet my husband called and got through to be transferred to Orchard Park. I was told at Orchard Park a neurologist could see me. So I left a message. Then I was called and told that neurologist would not see me either. Dent clearly wanted to get rid of me. I had been a patient for TEN years. About a week later I was informed by a letter Frost was discharging me as a patient for being disruptive to staff and breaking client Dr relationship. He forwarded it to my primary Dr without my consent.. I could not believe it. I was really hurt after being a patient of another neurologist for ten years. I wrote a professional letter back explaining the situation with his staff and the merry go round I was told. It did not matter he never replied back. He is a cold hearted Doctor. I look at all the reviews and he is in the habit of discharging patients whenever they complain or he thinks his staff is treated badly. When in truth his staff is treating his patients subpar. It is very sad. A neurologist doesn't belong with patients if he is going to be so very cold. I have never ever been discharged from any Doctor except for Mr. Frost. I would not recommend my animals even to go see him. Steer clear of this Doctor if at all possible.

Very disappointed with Dr. Frost. He put me through an overnight sleep test AND a daytime sleep test then dismissed me as a patient the very next day--with no results whatsoever. I called and called to find out what the problem was and no one would call me back for 2 days, until I threatened going to the media. When they did talk to me, they told me they decided to get rid of me on September 6th. SO why put me through expensive testing on Sept 11 and 12 and then send a letter dated Sept 13 dismissing me?? Absolutely terrible treatment. The compliance officer who called me, Tara, was rude and ignorant, seeming to delight in telling me that I had been dismissed. This is just the most egregious example of Dent's desire for money trumping their doctors Hippocratic oaths. And the letter Dent sent said Dr. Frost would be my doctor for 30 days? Ha. What a joke, no one cared, or even got back to me despite my several messages. And I thought Dr. Frost was one of the good guys.

just now

I was given a prescription for my sleep disorder from Frost at Dent neurologic. When it came time renew my prescription I ordered a week ealy (to give time for pre-authorization to go through. I waited. ..and waited..and waited over 2 weeks for my prescription to processed. I had called my pharmacy, they instructed me to call my insurance. I called my insurance. They told me that No order was sent in to them for authorization. I had given up and called my psychiatrist, he was able to call my pharmacist and IN 20 MNUTES my pharmacy called saying my medication is ready for pickup. This is negligence. I will reporing this to the proper authority because this SHOULD NEVER happen to a patient, EVER!!!

I cannot say that I was satisfied with Dr Frost or any of the MDs that I've now had the misfortune of having to see over the course of the last year and half. Dr Frost was rude, unprofessional, and refused to listen to me as a patient. He and the other MDs that were assigned to "follow me," did anything but treat me for and manage the care of my diagnosis. He and the other MDs at the practice standby for essentially over a year span on my Cconditions/disorder grew exponentially worse. By the time I left the practice I was having an increased number of seizure episodes both in duration, intensity, and sheer numbers. When I contacted Dent numerous times regarding my concerns I was pretty much told not to worry about it. however, in the brief time that I had fortunately been a patient of Dr. Frost's at dent, I was seen in the local ERs/impatient ICU a total of approximately 12 times in less than 6 months. I would call his office and request to speak to the nurses and will be lucky if I gotten a phone call return to meet within 72 hours. Dr Frost ran all this testing, but never was able to pinpoint the cause of my condition, however refused to acknowledge that I should be concerned or alarmed at the rate it was progressing. Not to mention the fact that at one of my ER visit I had been given a Dilantin Push to control the episodes. Which did in fact work. However Dent saw the medication as being "barbaric," and warned me that I could not see on the medication long-term adding that they were hesitant to let me see on the medication at all. But then neglected to request/submit lab requests for me to have my monthly Dilantin level draws to determine whether not I was in a therapeutic range. (Never acknowledging that their poor follow-through as a practice potential he could have caused my levels to become toxic, or could have even increase the rate and wish my condition was exasperated. ) Finally when I had meet with a new neurologist (not linked to Dent), it somehow became my fault that I hadn't had good success or improvement under his care.

Dr. Frost's Staff is very rude and not helpful at all. They act like your bothering them when you check in. Doctor does not listen and also had bad bedside manners. Dr.Nicolas Saikali is very professional and caring. Spends time and explains everything. I highly recommend Dr.Saikali.

To start with, Dr. Frost's staff is very rude and ignorant. They talk more about their personal lives than help patients. When you need to get through to nursing all you ever get is a machine and your lucky if they call you back that day. My husband sees him for seizures and has been for a year, and his seizures are still uncontrollable. At one point they increased his medicine so much that it overdosed him because they "forgot" to put that they had already increased it once before... Also staff hung up on my husband stating they did not want to speak with him and Dr. Frost personally called us yelling stating that we are not to be rude to his staff???? When they in turn were the ones who were rude to us!! I've taken my husband to the ER again for his seizures and the ER DOC said to follow up with Dr. Frost so I call and he doesnt even want to see him in the office, just wants to increase his med over the phone.. poor excuse of a doctor and we are in process of transferring as I speak!
