Dr. Elgin did my cornea transplant and it went great. He takes time to explain everything and answers question patiently.
He is also very personable and makes me feel comfortable. He provided excellent after -care and I look forward to the transplant in my other eye. This time I won't be so nervous, because I have complete confidence in him. A great doctor!

Good surgeon, but he acts like seeing patients is an imposition. Always rushed and acts frustrated if asked questions. Not Mr. Personality! Cancelled my surgery twice for personal reasons, costing me a lot of money and inconvenience.

As an ophthalmologist with an atypical problem, I went to Dr Elgin and received 1st rate care. I have referred him patients with difficult corneal problems in the past and knew that he could be counted on.

He is good ,but seems to not have enough time to talk to patients.I was referred by my PCP because I am diabetic.He does have a nice manner.
