Tough to find a better person and surgeon. Dr San Agustin performed my hernia surgery. The scar is minimal, I had more bruising where they put the IV in arm, and I literally could have gone to work the next day if I had to. As good a person as he is a Dr - which is not easy to find anymore.

Although I have sometimes had to wait twenty minutes past my appointment time I have found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful.
Dr. San Agustin is a compassionate, caring and exceptional surgeon. I trust him with my life and as someone who has breast cancer and had a tumor removed I can recommend him unconditionally. His bedside manner is fine. Bringing one's own biopsy over to the hospital is standard operating procedure. Only you can admit your own tissue and when a possibility of cancer exists within that tissue I would rather admit it to the hospital myself.
A Top Doc, for sure.

His staff is not helpful at all and the wait at his office is unbelievably
long. Although he may been knowledgeable is bedside manners are lacking. I know of a patient that was there for a biopsy that had to drive her sample over to Morristown Hospital's lab herself. The event was very stressful and to think they had her deliver her biopsy herself when surly one of the staff could have delivered it.

I have had the privilege of Dr. San Agustin's expertise now for over 18 years; twice for cat bites and once for cellulitis. He is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and a most pleasant doctor, besides being compassionate! He really knows his stuff!! He does not rush you through your appointment. You get his undivided attention... He takes the time to explain the whos, whats and whys. He asks you if you have any questions. He's in tune with your medical needs and will juggle to get you in if it's an emergency. I had surgery only days after seeing him. He's that dedicated and totally in tune with what needs to be done and when it needs to be done. I would highly recommend Dr. San Agustin to anyone looking for an excellent, highly-skilled surgeon. Mark my word, you will feel safe knowing you are in the best of care... Written from the heart; I admire this amazing doctor! Sincerely, Susan O'Neill, Boonton, NJ

Dr. Agustin is absolutely the best. He is listens, he is patient and explains everything thoroughly. His staff is just as wonderful. I arrived early for my follow-up visit and was seen right away! My dermatologist marveled at how perfect my incision looked. My discomfort is gone and I thank Dr. San Agustin for his expertise and professionalism.

Dr. San Agustin is a gem. Anyone who is fortunate enough to find him is truly blessed. Dr. San Agustin is knowledgeable, compassionate, experienced, and an expert surgeon. He tirelessly helped me through a terrible and frightening time. He called me at 9:30 p.m. the day before my surgery to reassure me. He has a network that is unsurpassed. He made sure I got the best team of doctors anyone could ask for. Throughout, Dr. San Agustin not only cared that I was cancer free, but understood that the body I was left with mattered. He is a busy doctor. That is because he is that good. So what. Bring a book. When it`s your turn, you will get his full attention which is what really matters. It has been four years since my surgery and I can`t imagine having a more caring surgeon looking out for me during the followup testing and evaluations. He is a fine man and I admire him immensely both personally and professionally. I would send my daughter and my best friend to him if need be. Anne Kaufmann

Dr. San Agustin and his entire staff treated me with compassion and professionalism during my recent surgery and treatment for breast cancer. He took the time to explain all of my treatment options clearly and provided comprehensive follow up care. He changed what was a very scary diagnosis into a positive path to wellness. I recommend him without reservation.

From the moment I met Dr SanAgustin I was moved by his honesty, straight-forwardness, knowledge, and concern for my condition. He made me feel like a person and not just a patient. His smile and sense of humor added to his likeable personality. He was on top of my condition from the start and after two surgeries I was just told I am now breast-cancer-free. The look on his face and his concern for me showed he was just as excited as I was. His modest office in Morristown shows his concern for his patients and his work is number one and not on material status. His Christian upbringing and beliefs rounded out all of the above. I would recommend Dr SanAgustin to everyone I know. He is a remarkable man.

Dr. San Agustin is very helpful and very knowledgeable, he took the time to really explain details on my surgery before it was scheduled, and he is very kind and caring, answered all my questions. He is not always on time but I understand that almost all doctors are not on time because of the business of their schedule and they can't hurry to finish taking care of the patient they are attending to. Good doctors are in high demand, that is Dr. San Agustin, I actually refer people I know to him.

Dr. Norman San Agustin took time to explain to me and and my husband the disease, surgery, the expected outcome, and the not so ideal outcome. He put both my husband and I at ease and we left the office fully informed and know that we made the right decision. I had a previous colon resection which made the laparoscopic cholecystectomy extremely difficult and challenging. Dr. San Agustin could very well chose to do an "open surgery" but he persevered and carefully and successfully completed the laparoscopic cholecystectomy. This truly made recovery so much easier for me. I would definitely recommend him to friends, family and colleagues. We have a very positive experience with this surgeon and his staff at Morristown location.
