He is exceptional. Didn't push IVF at all..attempted 4 IUIs before success! Great bedside manner! Sometimes we must be patient for the blessings yet to come! Extremely happy with Dr Slowey!!

I had gone to Dr. Slowey a few years ago and found him heartless. At the time I had just turned 36 and I had already an eight year old daughter and he told me I was getting "old". I have secondary infertility and also my partner has a very low sperm count so its difficult for me to get pregnant. Basically after only one try of IUI he wanted to jump to do IVF with donor's eggs without even suggesting to do an IVF with my own eggs. Basically he was trying to get more money out of me and the health insurance. For him, I was not a person with feelings just another statistic :( :( Currently I have been going to another doctor and so far had 2 chemical pregnancies but I'm still praying and hopeful . . .

NOT happy with this doctor! Pushed IVF as the only alternative and recommended surgery that left me infertile and thus FORCED to do IVF. Even gave my doctor a false report of an ultrasound that never took place! ONLY CARES ABOUT THE INCOME FROM IVF SERVICES! DON'T BE FOOLED!

I was treated like a statistic -- not even a number. This doctor visually cared more for his numbers than he did for his patients. I was told, after a failed IVF that my statistics were very unfavorable and that I had no chance of having another child. The next practice I went to, had me pregnant with twins on the first try. Office staff was moody and unhelpful. Nurses did not return your calls in a timely manner and were impossible to get a hold of. Billing staff provided untimely information to the insurance carrier which resulted in my being held accountable for a large bill which I was not expecting. I would not recommend RMA of NJ and would advise to keep looking -- there are many other more caring practices for IVF treatment.

Read all the above comeents and i do agree that Dr slowey is a wonderful doctor but I did not like the staff at all and also the fact that during your procedure you get to see a new doctor almost every time once you start the procedure especially if your are going for an IVF which takes place at the Morristown office ,there u'll hardly get to see him .

I had my first visit with Dr. Slowey several months ago. He was wonderful! Explained everything to me and my husband, made us feel very comfortable. He is very knowledgable and we feel very safe in his care. The front desk staff was also helpful even though the office was quite busy. I had my financial appointment with Stephanie and unlike others found her to be very helpful and extremely empathetic.I am guessing no one likes a person that asks them for money or gives then bad news such as having little or no coverage for their services. I did take the initiative to read the liturature I was given prior to coming to RMA and also read the liturature I was given after leaving RMA.(and there was a LOT of information thats for sure!!). I would/will recommend this office to any/all of my friends or family

Dr. Slowey is a very knowledgable, patient and thorough RE specialist. He takes time to get to know his patient prior to each appointment which makes me more comfortable as he remembers my name and issues. Unfortunately, nothing good can be said about the staff in his office. By law, they're supposed to provide us with the test result within 30 days of request. We called and called, and nobody seems to know the status and they kept lying stating that it was sent when it wasn't. When you've been diagnosed with IVF treatment, you will also need to speak to their financial person by the name Stephanie who's the rudest, most unprofessional-uncaring- insensitive-unknowledagble person of the staff bunch. Dr. Slowey's nurse, Bernadette, made a mistake by ordering RX w/o our knowledge though it was resolved quickly and discreetly. She's VERY good at returning calls and she'd go above and beyond to get you settled. I found her a bit short at times (please SMILE) but it's really minor.

Dr. Slowey is an infertility specialist (there wasn't a category for this). Infertilty is such an emotional roller coaster and Dr. Slowey has been a God-send. He and his staff are knowledgeable, helpful and really good at what they do. He has taken a tremendous amount of time to explain everything and he is very sensitive to our situation. Dr. Slowey is very experienced and nice too which is rare these days. He has gained the trust of my husband and I and we are looking forward to adding to our family. If not, we know that Dr. Slowey and his staff have done everything thye possibly could. I would highly recommend him if you are having trouble conceiving.
