My former podiatrist pass away. so I went to see this one. He was very dismissive except to offer his surgery . Two people before him took my information. So with his second hand information he comes in and I only saw him for less than 5 minutes . No complete exam of foot on standing; just while seated with feet off floor . Leaving the office I felt completely unseen by him... no real examination of the foot. I wouldn't have surgery with him at all.

Very little interest in you as a patient. Loves to jump right into cutting you open. Was somewhat rude and disrespectful. Wouldn't go again, and I ran the other way

Very arrogant. Dismissed my foot pain. Can’t be bothered to do a thorough exam. Tells me I come to see him too often. That’s not going to happen again. Will find a new doctor. One who cares about his patients more then his tennis tan

Bob Baravarian botched my first foot surgery and his remedy surgery made matters worse. I had a second opinion about the first round and his proposed surgery was sound, but he failed. He apologized and tried to remedy it, but the results were worse. There's no knowledge or common sense here; and it pretty much ended my running career. I did not sue. I did not publicize. I did warn friends of mine. However, now years later, I am paying consequences. The foot pains me enough to wake me up in the night. I've had multiple opinions to know it'll be major surgery to undo the damage the hardware in my foot is causing, I have shattered bones, and one doctor even proposed amputating the toe! Beware. Go anywhere else, but here. Too late for me, other friends of mine have surfaced with similar disaster stories.

Dr. Baravarian did not really listen to me and seemed to all too readily dismiss my concerns about surgery since I am a diabetic. He thinks he is very important and patients are not. He scolded me for asking questions at my pre-op. He is really full of himself. Seems like a mill operation to me. I went elsewhere.

BEWARE!! As others have commented, this guy is at best incompetent and at worst a crook. He charges a fortune and gives you very little office time. He seems not at all interested in the patient, but rather only in making money -- even at the expense of the patient's well-being! With very little examination, he prescribed an extremely expensive and complex kind of "Frankensurgery" for my foot that would have left me immobilized for months and deeply in debt. I asked him about another minimally invasive, inexpensive implant procedure that another doc had recommended, and Baravarian simply scoffed that it would never work and told me I'd have to have the implant removed within six months. Luckily, I chose to go with that other doc's recommendation. It has now been almost a year since I had that simple, inexpensive procedure, and the implant is still in place, doing its job well, and I am now completely pain free! (Gee, I'm so sorry I couldn't help you pay that $18,000 for those boring grey waiting room sofas you were bragging about Dr. Bob!!) Bottom line, save yourself a lot of grief and do NOT waste your time or money on this hack!
