I DO HAVE TO SAY I LOVED THE DOCTOR VERY MUCH AND WAS DEFINITELY IMPRESSED BY HIM. MY ONLY PROBLEM IS THE GIRLS NEVER RETURN PHONE CALLS AND TAKES THEM DAYS TO CALL YOU BACK. THEY CALLED ME ONCE AT 8:30 IN THE MORNING AND I'M NOT UP THAT EARLY. BUT I DID CALL BACK AS SOON AS I DID GET UP LEFT A MESSAGE AND NOTHING. SORRY DOCTOR, BUT I WENT TO SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE OF YOUR STAFF AND I DID LIKED YOU BUT NOT COMING BACK. YOUR STAFF NEEDS SOME KIND OF HELP IN RETURNING PHONE CALLS.

I have been seeing Dr. Pearlstein for over 10 years for my seizure problems. I wish I would have met him earlier in my life. I have never met a more knowledgeable neurologist in my life, and I had a few before him. My wife sees Dr. Khatri for her headache issues and my father has been seeing Dr. Pearlstein for the last 5 years, once he developed neurological problems. I recommend him to anyone I come across who needs neurological help, it's that simple. Great bedside manner, great staff, very punctual with appointment times. I even recommended my wife's ex-husband to see Pearlstein because I wanted him to get the best possible help he needed. If you truly want to see the best neurologist in the area, visit Dr. Pearlstein.

Made my son and myself feel as if we were bothering them. My son was in a terrible car accident with brain injury and he dismissed my son like he was nothing. Would never see him again

Dr. Pearlstein and Dr. Khatri are, in my opinion, two of the kindest, most caring physicians I have ever known. I have been seeing Dr. P, and later, Dr. K., since a spinal cord injury in 1988 -- 30 years ago. They have been able to diagnose rare and difficult conditions, which reflects their knowledge and skill. I don't know what we would have done without them over five years ago when my wife developed a fatal neurological condition. They are models for emulation. They demonstrate compassion for others. I will be forever grateful to them, and entrust my life to their care.

This office cares more about your money than your wellbeing. After being canceled on and having to wait week for another appointment, at their convenience, got to the office and before filling out any paperwork they immediately wanted my copay and a credit card to keep on file. With data theft being as prevalent nowadays, I didn't feel comfortable about this. Then after reading their paperwork, while the front desk still asked for my copay at least twice more, I find out that they want it on file incase the insurance company doesn't pay all of it, and that they can automatically charge my credit card. I asked them about PCI compliance, of which they knew nothing. This is compliance surrounding how customer credit info is kept. Then I asked if there was any information about this since PCI compliance requires multiple audits yearly, and they couldn't provide anything other than to say that they make a copy of the card (physical) then take it upstairs to "their billing guy" (where they said, he's been doing this for years, so he knows what he's doing) and its then entered into a computer and the physical is shredded. I have so many issues with that statement, I can't even go into it all. They keep repeating things like "this is standard" and "nothing has happened before" to try and make it sound better but these phrases have no grounds in anything factual, its all just based on "trust us" and for a doctors office that has talked more about trying to get my money than get me healthy, that is a big red flag.

Dr. Louis S. Pearlstein's response
Sorry, but unless we get paid for our services we will not be able to pay our staff or stay open (like the three neurology offices that closed this past year). This patient was not, nor will be seen at our office, as he was more interested in arguing than addressing his neurologic problem,

I had seen several other neurologists with no luck for the severe pain I had in my neck. After one visit to Dr Pearlstein, he prescribed a medication that relieved the pain that I had been experiencing for years. Thank you Doctor. You are a godsend.
