I was so nervous waiting to find out what kind of doctor my daughter would get after having had so many dismissive specialists in the past and dr cooper was phenomenal. She had tracked down every conceivable record of my daughters treatment to best figure t he full story. We spoke for almost 2 hours at the consultation to make sure she had all the information and that I understood everything. I’ve never had ANY doctor go so above and beyond for her (or myself or her sister for that matter) in my life!!

We have been seeing Dr Cooper for few years .She is an excellent doctor and her experience is unbelievable .The only problem is her new assistant that only forwards the patients concerns to Dr Cooper and nothing else.....I really miss Catherine ....she was awesome

She was very condescending. She would explain everything but tell us we were lying or just wouldn’t believe the symptoms we would tell her about. Lacking empathy. Would not recommend

Always made us feel as if we were making up any of our child’s seizures. Dismissive of our feelings or her auras. Forgot she diagnosed our child and tried to say he does not have epilepsy when 5 EEGs showed it. Unreal and disgusting. I have yet to find any neurologist that truly cares or listens. .

Dr. Cooper is the most caring and patient Doctor! We have taken our Daughter to her for a few years after a bad experience with another Neurologist and she was fantastic. She took the time to get to know our daughter and helped us resolve/treat every issue or condition she had not just what we initially went for. She definitely went over and above for us!! It was 1.5 hour drive to see her but so worth it. We were always seen in a timely manner, and should we have waited 10 minutes or so it was worth it as you never felt rushed while you were with her. Catherine as well was very helpful and quick to respond to any issues or questions we had. They make a fantastic team, I would highly recommend them to anyone in need.

Torn on this review... receptionist was very nice but failed to return calls. Bigger issue/complaint is actually Dr.Cooper. Granted, she is incredibly knowledgeable and confident which obviously is what matters most (hence the decent rating given) and we do have full trust in her... but her "politeness" in reality has hidden backhanded comments and judgmental questions if you're actually paying attention to what is said and how it's presented. We are very satisfied with her competence as a doctor and would not hesitate to recommend based on her knowledge, but did feel belittled when we last met.

Dr.Cooper... I am unsure if you read these but if so I would ask that you put yourself in the shoes of the parents that are coming to you. Understandable after 30+ years of experience and knowing as much as you do that you could lose sight of how it feels on the other side of the desk, but as a a friendly reminder - people coming to you are new to this, likely very scared, and looking out for the best interest of their child's health.

Your help is greatly valued and appreciated, but some extra compassion and understanding would be appreciated.

I love Dr. Cooper!! She’s an amazing woman! She’s the only doctor who truly listened to my daughters problem and actually helped her. Such a caring, patient and witty woman. So happy we were referred to her.

We have been seeing Dr. Cooper for 14 years and she is very comprehensive, diligent and kind. She establishes rapport with the child and the parents. We adore her and feel that the wait times are 100% Worth it as she is always not rushed when we are Inside the office.

Dr. Cooper was the first doctor to really listen to us and to take the time to hear about what my son was struggling with. Her staff was very friendly and on a day when all the roads were closed and her staff could just not make it in, Dr. Cooper was there answering phones taking faxes and making sure that her patients needs were met even in extreme circumstances.
We have seen many doctors over the past few years and to meet with Dr.Cooper was a real breath of fresh air, she was friendly and professional and I knew in the first 5 mins of meeting with her that my family and I had come to the right place.
