Yes, I too agree with the Richard Gere look alike- but even more he has the same kindness, gentleness, poise and intelligence as Gere! Dr. Aronson , has treated a number of my family members , with me at the side, and I have always felt at peace knowing he was the one taking care of us.. Our first encounter , was when my daughter hurt her ankle , she was very young at the time and a bit scared being there in emergency- he treated her with a bit of light hearted humour , sat beside her on the bed and told her a story about he and his grandmother. He took the time to make her feel safe and comfortable and then proceed to treat her leg. Till this day, she trusts him, my mother has unfortunately frequent visits to ER and always comments how gentile he is. He takes the time to get to the bottom of things and refers you to other specialists that can contribute to solving the problem. So impressed and really really helped us eliminate some fears and find the answers. He interacts with the other staff with professionalism and team spirit. A good team with Dr. Orr another great doctor! Cool , calm and focused. Thank you Dr. Aronson for all that you do>

It may rattle you at first to see a man who looks so much like Richard Gere walk up to your bedside in the emergency room, and ask him to tell you "What's going on?", but I assure you this man is a doctor. I was having trouble breathing, and decided to head down to the hospital, and was soon face to face with Dr. Aronson. I very quick diagnoses followed, along with advice, and a speedy little whirlwind discharge. This doctor gets right down to business, fixes what needs fixing, and sees no reason in keeping you anywhere any longer than you need to be there.

My Mother was flown from the states back home after a suspected heart attack. This doc was fantastic! Best I've ever seen in the Lethbrigde ER!! He couldn't figure out why she had a fever and put her through all kinds of tests. It turned out she didn't have a heart attack, but an ecoli bladder infection...the hospital in the states didn't even take a urine sample! His bedside manner was exceptional as well...very impressed Lethbridge Hospital has atleast 1 considerate doc ;)

Dr. Arrenson is always very patient and compassionate with my mother and I, who end up in the E.R. a few times a year due to chronic illness. I alays hope he or Dr. Orr are there when I am in serious pain.

I was in the ER with my grandma and she was in horrible pain. He did x-rays and blew her off telling her she should just take tylenol, and go home. We sent the x-rays over to another dr and it was discovered my grandma BROKE her hip. Then he had the nerve to call a day later (Arrenson) and tell my grandma the situation. How could a dr not see that!! She was in sooo much pain and he blew her off! She should have been admitted right then and there.

Just after my first son turned a year he got really sick with some kind of virus. He was having troubles breathing(wheezing and indrawing). This all happened in the evening on a weekend. I had brought him into the ER twice and they had treated him with ventolin and some other treatments but when ever we got home it never lasted. I finally brough him back for the third time and Dr. Arrenson was on and he actually listened to me, he treated with the same medications and told me to wait for a few hours so that he could actually for himself what was going on. After a few hours he saw what I was talking about and admitted my son, who ended up staying in peds for 4 days. I really appreciated his kindness and the fact that he listened and respected what I was talking about. Because a mother always knows!

VERY compassionate. Every time I have had to be treated, he was empathetic and generous. Even escorted me to a very painful test to hold my hand through the procedure. I'm always at ease when I hear that he is the Dr. on call.
