Lost trust he will help watch and catch any cancers such as basal or squamous.
Last two removed we told him of concern twice even though he said was not a cancer.
At my insisting he pls do biopsy both times he did biopsy and both were cancer. I do not think he takes his patients serious any more. If working take it 100% serious or do not give me false sense of security. Either take patients serious or do not practice. Knowledge sure is excellent but if not applied and used of no use . When you have recurring cancers it can be life or death and a doctor you have to tell him you think they are cancers that biopsly show they are positive is an unacceptable and dangerous doctor to have.

I was treated for a sudden and debilitating, head-to-toe outbreak of guttate psoriasis caused by untreated strep throat. Dr. Smith was amazing throughout my several months of treatment. Knowledgable, confident, gentle, caring. Pretty much everything I could want in a doctor.

Dr. smith has no bedside manner and could care less about his patients!! I have had 2 squamous cell cancers removed by him and have felt as though it's just a paycheck for him. He let the female PA sew up one of my surgeries and it looked like a Frankenstein stitch job. Do some homework before you choose just any dermatologist.

My experience with Dr Smith is not just a one or two visit deal. I have been a patient of Dr Smith's for almost 30 years and have had at least a couple dozen skin cancer spots surgically removed. With fair skin and of Irish descent, I see him often! He has done great work and often left very minimal scarring! He has done other work on me and is most professional and precise in his prognosis. He is a most pleasant gentleman and I always find his nurses very efficient, caring and always concerned about my comfort during procedures. I would never think of going anywhere else!

Terrible doctor. I've never been treated worse for a botox treatment. I felt like I was being shot by a gun. Not caring. Horrible manners. AVOID Dr. Clifton Smith!

Sadly, a waste of my time. Could not give me specific instructions about the treatment recommended (for example, how long do I leave Cream 1 on before removing? How long do I wait until I apply Cream 2? How many days do I use Cream 1?). He was unaware of the class action lawsuit against Acutane and wanted to prescribe it for me when I did not have a single blemish on my face. When I asked him about anti-aging, skin tone, dark eye circle procedures, he told me that anything anyone could ever give was "hope in a bottle". I guess that all he sells at his laser treatment center? No other options except makeup were discussed. He asked me if I still suffer from my skin condition rather than examine me himself. When I tried to show him the afflicted area, he wouldn't cross the room and look at it. No exam given. And,finally, my appointment was at 9am. Yet, I was not seen until 10:10am! How does a doctor get 1 hr behind before 9am?? My one positive remark: not the rudest doctor I've ever seen.
