Simply put, bad experience after bad experience. Equally bad experiences with the doctors that Dr Harlow refered us to. Do your research and meet with several pediatricians before making a selection.

When I chose Dr. Harlow I had met him at his Ramsey office. He was very knowledgable and his staff was lovely. When I had my baby I began seeing him at his hackensack office. He is still very nice and knowledgeable but his receptionists at the hackensack office are just aweful!!! They are so rude! I was surprised to find that someone who works at a pediatrician's office could be so condescending, dry and unpleasant! The lady in charge of the billing dept is also very incompetent. After having negative experiences with his staff and feeling anxious when I knew it was time for my baby's next appt, i decided that i didnt deserve the aggravation and frustration and switched doctor's. Dr. Harlow needs to hire receptionists that actually like kids and people if they are going to work in a pediatric's office. If not it will not matter how great of a Dr. he is if people can't get past the front desk staff's attitude!

He's a great doctor and he takes the time to talk to my boys man-to-man (without Mom around) about stuff I'd be just as happy to have him hear from a caring doctor, not me! He's credible and on top of his game.

Dr Harlow is the best! I have no problem changing doctors to find one I like, but I have kept my children with this practice for 10 years. He never rushes, is extremely knowledgeable, and always gets back to you. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Dr. Harlow is the best doctor I have ever been to! A knowledgeable straight shooter who tells it like it is and tells you exactly what you need to hear. A caring and compassionate doctor who will take as much time as necessary to take care of you and make you feel comfortable. Take your kids to see him you will never go anywhere else.

Dr. Harlow is the absolute best! I have never known such a caring, kind, and patient doctor. The only problem is that he isn't always available, and the other doctors in the practice are just awful. I've seen every one of them, and just don't understand why he would practice with them. My guess is that he is getting ready to retire, and that will be a true loss.

Dr. Harlow is the BEST! He takes time to explain, is kind and gentle and always has a sense of humor (even when you're about to lose yours :O))Unfortunately we moved away, but I can HIGHLY recommend his practice!

He has been my daughter's doctor for 16 years and is the best ever. he is kind, down to earth, and extremely knowledgeable. I trust his judgement 100 percent! We are blessed to have such a fine physician.
