Hands down the best surgeon I've ever had, magic hands. He said I would never forget his name and I didn't. I will need him again soon and look very much forward to it, I never had such a great recovery after surgery before.

I found Dr. Ahmed after doing research and learning of his Top 100 Doctors rating in the Washingtonian Magazine and his being named a Top Surgeon by peer physicians in the Washington Consumer Checkbook. I was impressed by his personable but professional nature, and his great sense of humor. He repaired my umbilical hernia, and did a laparoscopic repair of my inguinal hernia. I didn't experience any post-surgery pain. Every aspect of my experience was outstanding, from Dr. Ahmed and his office staff, to the staff, nurses and anesthesiologist at the Stone Springs Hospital. I am very thankful for the level of care I received, and highly recommend Dr. Ahmed and the Stone Springs Hospital.

I have now had surgery performed by Dr. Ahmed on two ocassions and could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Dr. Ahmed is pleasant and extremely knowledgeble, as well as an excellent surgeon. Any encounters that I have had with his staff (both office and medical/nursing) have been handled with a high degree of sensitivity and professionalism.

I would give him the strongest recommendation possible.

I chose Dr. Ahmed for his ability to produce excellent outcomes in his patients with regard to his surgical skills, post-operative care, infections, and dealing with the initial and subsequent conditions of my gall bladder case. His demeanor was that of a close friend and almost father figure which gave a sense of confidence and security to my case. I was back on my game after less than 2 pain-free weeks and will definitely use him again if any case that I need that can be accomplished with arthroscopic surgery. I can without hesitation recommend ;him to my friends for their needs.

Dr. Ahmed is an EXCEPTIONAL Surgeon on all levels relative to quality patient care! In fact, I am taking the time to hit every review internet site on his behalf. My surgery was not an easy one and he approached my case as if he was dealing with a family member. He took the time to discuss my options, the details regarding the surgery and provided me encouragement through the entire process! He is a skilled surgeon that takes a "patient first" approach which is quite refreshing these days; wouldn't you say?

Had a hernia surgery by Dr Ahmed . Jan 2017, he is a great and excellent surgeon felt totally at ease under his professional approach and knowledge. Taking very good care of his patient . I feel great and in less than a week backed to normal. He did an excellent job for me and I highly recommend him , his staff is wonderful too.

Great surgeon. Took the time to explain details and answer any questions I had. Office staff coordinated surgery with plastic surgeon for me. Always courteous and caring. Would definitely recommend.

I had a horrible experience with this doctor and would not recommend him. I was so upset after my surgery, I refused to see him post op and saw someone else. Two other doctors apologized on behalf of the medical profession for the way I was treated. Afterwards, I realized it was arrogance. There is nothing worse than being naked and vulnerable on an operating table and having your concerns brushed aside.
