Dr. T saved my life. I wish he could see where I am today. I was a very complex case as a child/youth and he was the only one who didn’t give up on me. He encompasses everything a doctor should be, and more. Thanks to him, I’m 34 years old (almost didn’t make it past 15), have a great career, own a home and my husband and I are approaching 7 years of marriage. Every other professional told myself and my parents this would never be possible. Thank you Dr. T, you gave me the motivation to keep living. I will forever be grateful for you.

While I was an inpatient, Dr. Teshima was incredibly empathetic and understanding. He was the first psychiatrist I felt I could trust. He is an amazing doctor and I am truly grateful for his support.

I went to him for depression, anxiety, OCD, adhd. Focuses on then here and now and
guides but never dictates and never ever imposes. Respects patient's inherent right to free thought and choice. Helped me with lengthy complex issues. Nothing but appreciation for him.

Dr. Teshima has been such an amazing psychiatrist and I'm so grateful to have been referred to him. He isn't judgemental, gives great insight, listens and understands. I felt very comfortable around him and found it easy to open up. Definitely recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Teshima is amazing. I only met him for brief periods when I was an in-patient at Sunnybrook, but he was a complete professional every time I talked with him. Eight years later, he's still the best psychiatrist I've ever had, and I wish I could have been under his care much, much longer.
