it was a nightmare. If it's your first time going to this location, stay away! THEY DO NOT VALIDATE PARKING. I left before I even got a chance to see the doctor, that's how bad the wait was. Locationis in the middle of crazy tourist place-Rodeo Drive. And the actual practice is inside a smaller plaza and it will take you forever to find this hidden place. The wait: I normally don't mind waiting at the doctor's office. I think 30min is about right. but I was still outside sitting in the waiting room area 45min in. I asked the nurse what was going on and they said i will be send to a smaller room in a bit. I know usually that' another 15-20min wait after the nurses check your blood pressure and everything. I told the nurse basically I will be another 45 min wait until I see the actual doctor and she said "very likely." Who in the world have 1.5 hour just to wait for the doctor?! I don't think this doctor is worth my time. Go to Cedars. they are way better there.

Dr. Brown is good so far. We have been seeing her since the beginning of our twin pregnancy and she has been fantastic. My husband really likes her and how thourough she is in explaining things. She always calls and follows up with me and she is prompt in all repsonses. I am very happy with her care.

I dont buy the bad review of the mom with a teenage daughter. My daughter had a great experience with Dr Brown. she too had an ovarian cyst in which Dr Brown explained everything. she was caring ,and took the time to explain things in detail. the charge for medical records is very common practice. i think the other receptionist just recognized how crazy and demanding this other mom was. You can never satisfy some people. Dr Brown is awesome!

Our teenage daughter saw this doctor on 2 occasions. When the doctor was asked why our daughter might have gotten a second cyst, when we were assured that the birth-control that had been prescribed for her was supposed to prevent recurrence, her response was that she didn't know. When asked what might happen, the doctors response was that it might burst, and for that we should keep vicadin handy. One can hardly be surprised by our desire to seek another opinion, but the doctors office was. Letty at the office told us over the phone that recovery of copies of the medical records would take up to 10 days and that there was a $15 fee. Laughable! We went to the offices directly and demanded the copies. Maggie was most obliging, and actually the only responsible person in the entire office. This is not the office or doctor that any young teenage lady should be seeing. Neither should their mothers.

Dr Brown was a disappointment to say in the least. She has no understanding of patient confidentiality. I left her office halfway through my pregnancy and am much happier elsewhere.

Excellent bedside manner, caring, very knowledgeable. I had to have my first pap and pelvic exam today. I have not been sexually active yet, but her gentle touch and compassion really eased my anxiety and discomfort. Thank you, Dr. Brown.

I have been seen her for less than 6 months. Now that I am pregnant I know how important is to have a great ob, a person that can really listen to you and call you back every time you leave a message. Dr. Brown is the best OBGYN i've ever had. I went through a very traumatic experience and Dr. Brown helped me the entire way. She is caring, helpful, funny and sweet. She tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible. If you're looking for an OBGYN I completely recommend her!
