Love this doctor - life saver!! I honestly had so much trouble with Pharm throughout medical school and began to hate it! Dr. Harris made everything so simple by connecting all the concepts and made me fall in love with Pharm! Thank you, Dr. Harris!

Steven Harris is a god-send. He is saving my life. Smartest doctor I have ever seen for Late-Stage Neurological Lyme Disease. He has been treating it since 2001, and it is his life’s work. He’s been suspended on multiple accounts for giving hope to very, very sick people who have gotten the one-month CDC recommended antibiotics and still feel extremely horrible - and who are denied treatment by hospital-practitioners. If you want to know specific treatments, he put me on IV Rocephin and Azithromycin. We are fighting the babesia and soon, the bartonella. Both drugs have barely any side effects and are very safe. This treatment has given me my life back. You can tell he is inventive in treatment methods, yet he also has almost two decades of experience dealing with Lyme case after Lyme case. You will be in EXTREMELY good hands. Dr. Harris listens to every little thing you have to say and writes it down while keeping eye contact. You can tell he wants to beat this thing as much as you do, and he is extremely determined. I owe him my life.
The one downside is the staff in the office are just short of horrible at answering the phone and communicating in general. I know this is due to having so, so many patients and not enough doctors or staff but it can be seriously frustrating. I would highly suggest having in-person appointments at least every 2 mo. I know traveling is hard for most of us but trust me it is worth it and it is imperative to your getting better.

I have been a patient of Dr. Harris' for over 7 years. He has brought me from death's door to having a life again. After seeing over 60 doctors, I finally found Dr. Steven Harris who knows about Tick Borne Diseases. In fact, I know enough to say Dr. Harris is a Brilliant doctor and a wise and kind human being. I have only had positive responses to my questions and any issues I came up with . Dr. Harris takes the time it TAKES to understand and listen me. If I have had to wait a few extra minutes before my appointment, I know he is doing the same with his other patience. I have been to doctors who have spent 7 minutes with me and never helped me at all. I prefer a doctor like Dr. Steven Harris who gives me the time I need and the understanding, listening, and life saving protocol that has saved my life.

I like him and his staff. Office inefficiencies are legend, but getting better with a new office manager. He can be careless- be sure to go over your protocols with him carefully and fax him with questions/issues for best results. Verbal communications with staff tend to get lost in the shuffle. I had a serious complication once that didn't reach his ears until two weeks down the line- not cool. But once you learn how to manage the office inadequacies and be your own advocate, I think he's worth it. Very knowledgable, thoughtful and open-minded.
