Dr. Kannankeril ( Dr. K ) is a miracle worker. You can really tell she loves her job and the children that she works with. I came from Kaiser to her because they were ignoring my Granddaughters Autism and let me tell you, today she is a talking bubble with non-stop energy. She is the popular girl in school and even though she still suffers from Autism most people don't realize she is until I tell them. She is one of the most Knowledgeable doctors when it comes to Autism and I am grateful that I found her. A true Jewel!! WE LOVE YOU Dr. K!

I was apprehensive about going off base to see a doctor for the first time in my military career, but I was getting so much sicker and couldn’t keep up with training. Dr. K really listened and connected things other docs never put together. She ordered tests and found a thyroid issue, then quickly started treatment and I was back to running within a month. Definitely go see her if you’re not finding answers.

Dr. Kannankeril is nothing short of incredible. After waiting almost two months to get in for an appointment for a second opinion late last year, I was anxious to meet her. She may have been the only doctor ever to review my paperwork prior to the visit and I can't say how refreshing that was! My previous endocrinologist said there was no sense in retesting my thyroid antibodies (I have Hashimoto's), but with Dr. Kannankeril's comprehensive treatment, my antibodies have gone down to normal! We were also able to lower the amount of thyroid medication I need. The only issue I have is that she books up in advance, but her assistant has been very responsive and I've been able to get in through the wait list. Definitely very highly recommended!

First, I'd like to mention that I don't believe I've ever left ANYONE a negative review in my life. It's important that other people have TRUE perspectives on their negative visit and therefore I'm now taking the time to let you know to decide for yourself. I chose to see Dr. Kannenkeril because of all the reviews; however, it was a WASTE of time and money. Recently diagnosed w/a thyroid condition, I researched and also sought traditional medicine prior to meeting w/her. The sad truth is that I believe that I am more familiar w/thyroid conditions than her. Although I supplied her with lab results, she incorrectly noted that my results and symptoms matched up w/the opposite condition that other functional and traditional research note. (I had myself tested to confirm that she was incorrect). She also NEVER even examined my thyroid. Ridiculous waste of my time and money to see this doctor. My recommendation would be to find another doctor.

The best of the best! Moving from the Pacific Northwest where doctors are generally integrative to northern Virginia was a bit of a shock for me. After trying out a few concierge practices, I found Dr. K. While she’s not a concierge doc, you get that level of care with her once you get in. Very attentive and explains everything thoroughly. Effective natural treatments usually, but Rx when needed. Her assistant always tries to fit me in even when there aren’t openings for a month and is quick to reply with any questions. This is the kind of doctor everyone should see!

I can't express how grateful I am to Dr. Kannankeril. Working with her has made a world of difference in me getting pregnant and having a healthy pregnancy. I'm so thankful that she looked deeper into my hormones and put me on the treatment that she did. I completely trust her and the pharmacy and am just so happy that I went this route versus going through a fertility clinic. Again, I can't thank her enough and can't wait to bring my baby in to see her!

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Kannankeril and the staff. I did not feel like a number walking out the door and even though I arrived late for my appointment, I still received top quality care. Dr. Kannankeril was knowledgeable, very experienced and instantly put me at ease. She has ordered a very thorough workup which is more than the past 3 doctors I've seen have done. Very excited to be continuing care with her!

Dr. Kannankeril has been my doctor for over three years and has seen me through difficulties getting pregnant with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. She believed that I could get my health back on track and didn't let me give up when I got frustrated. Thanks to her testing, careful attention, and treatment, I have lost weight, am healthier than I've ever been (even getting to a lower dose on my thyroid medication) and have a beautiful baby girl. I write this as I prepare to move out of the area for my husband's work and the most difficult part of the move is not being able to see her regularly as my doctor. She has a special place in my heart and I give her my highest recommendation.

Dr K is an amazing doctor! I have been taking my 4yo son to her for about a year now and have seen drastic improvement in his overall life. She is a godsend for my family. After taking my son to different doctors we were never able to find any problems or how to cure them. Within the first visit she ordered tests and immediately found and diagnosed the problems he was having. She is very attentive and caring and truly develops a unique treatment plan to help your situation. I would highly recommend this doctor and truly believe in naturopathic healing. She is the best!
