I was leery due to the other reviews but a friend highly recommend this Dr. SO GLAD I went. Dr. Montijo was thorough and explained everything. Staff is friendly and very helpful. I did not have insurance and my bill was more than fair.

Since my first visit with Dr. Panchal was not very pleasant and he was not very available other than one day a week, I requested the different doctor and that was Dr. Montijo.
As I was at the Dr. Montijo patient room, his PA was with me first, then Dr. Montijo walked in to see me. He left the door open. He inserted my MRI CD into the computer on the wall and started discussing and explaining it to me. In the middle of that another nurse walked in the room (the door was open anyways) and she started asking him about the other patient and how to access some information on the computer for that other patient. So he stopped talking to me and closed my screen and opened that other patient's profile and started discussing his case with the nurse right in front of me.
He seemed to be in a hurry so he opened my CD again as I had some additional questions and was quick to say that I need the surgery. He was not even neurosurgeon and does not deal with the spine injuries but he was sure and started convincing me that I need the surgery on my spine.
He did not even know that I have been going to physical therapy for the past month and that my condition improved drastically.
So just like Dr. Panchal, I do not recommend this doctor or any other from this office!

Best Dr Ever.. May have to wait a little bit.. But get what you wait for. Explains everything
