Very thorough... Spends time with you... Big & busy practice with automated system for test results... Not too personal but efficient I guess. She was the chief resident when in training at George Washington... Was recommended by a friend who trained with her.

I ‘ve seen Dr Ellen Min now for over 5 years.. She was referred to me by my last DR Sara Cory who retired and recommended DR MIN , I have my doubts at frist that Dr min she is that great as Dr Corey advised me .. but as I could not locate any other female Doctor nearby where I lived .. I went ahead and listed myself as her patient.. and that was the most best advise Dr E. Min always goes out of her way to address, explained and answer any of my questions , worries and anxiety. Plus, she referred me to couple of specialists who where great as herself . Dr E. Min is one of the most great physicians that I ever dealt with her and I will never EVER replace her and I recommended her for to my own family. Sawsan M.

Dr. Min is excellent. She listens carefully and explains the various options for treatment and why she might one over another. She is extremely hardworking as well. Lab results are posted very promptly and calls if there is anything that needs further discussion. I would recommend her to anyone.

I found Dr. Min to be fairly knowledgeable. However, I found her to be extremely rude and condescending. She was annoyed that I asked her questions and I had to listen to her lecture me.

Dr. Min was very understanding and knowledgable. She wanted to make sure I complied with treatment and was feeling better, and followed up with me after my appointment. No communication problems - I found the other reviewer's comment on her English language skills to be inaccurate.

I find Dr. Min to be a good communicator. She speaks clearly and will explain things to you you don't understand. She is open to let you try other approaches before prescribing medicine. I also like that I can call the lab results phone number to get the results of my labs. If the results come back with some type of medical issue, Dr. Min will call and speak with you instead of leaving the results on the results line.

Bad bedside manner. Lectures patients, and English is not very good so there is often misunderstandings. Lets her frustration with this lack of understanding out on patients. Does not listen to patients complaints fully before diagnosing.

The entire center at General Internal Medicine is a disgrace, but I was particularly appalled with Dr. Min's lack of professionalism. After being diagnosed with a serious infection that wasn't getting better with treatment, I tried to get an appointment, but I was told that they could not see me at all that week even after they spoke with her. I was not given test results when I requested them, and I have been over and under prescribed several medications. Quite frankly, I get better care for my dog at the vet.
