Dr. Charles L. Filipiak is a great doctor. He is knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. He also knows what he is doing unlike other doctors in his field at other practices. My wife and I also like his staff in his office, always friendly and helpful. I had known him years ago when he first started out and I was very happy to see that he had joined the practice where I am a patient. I asked to be seen by him only. All the specialists at the Toledo Clinic are always pressed for time. If you are looking for a great gastroenterologist, go see Dr. Charles L. Filipiak, M.D. at the Toledo Clinic, you'll be glad you did!

Very thourough. However it seems like it takes a long time to get from one stage of the liver diagnosis to the next. Dr. Filipiak is very friendly and empathetic to those who are sick. The staff does not smile much and is not friendly, but they do their job well.

Very knowledgable about his specialties. Interested in what you have to say, friendly, but usually is rushed. The hospital seems to keep him very busy. Sometimes can be a lengthy wait to get an appt. so call early.
