I saw Dr. Su in July 2013 and until now I still feel sick when I think of this doctor. I had a 11cm fibroid and my friend recommends me to see Dr. Su for second opinion. I brought 3 paper reports and one ultrasound CD and one MRI CD with me. This doctor didn't even look at CDs I brought. He only took a glance of the paper reports and saw size is 11cm and told me I need to remove my uterus because no point to keep the uterus. I was shocked but thought he is professional and maybe he is right. I asked some questions about the sexual life quality without uterus and he found out I had a boyfriend but no kid. He asked me why my boyfriend didn't have kid with me. I told him because my boyfriend is much older (it is really none of his business but I answered his question anyway). Then he dares to put his arm on my shoulder and jokingly told me he would have kid with me. I know he was joking but the behavior is totally unprofessional and unacceptable from an OB doctor! I was very uncomfortable at that moment. As I wanted to ask more questions, he looked at his watch and told me he has spent too much time with me and those woman (who are from overseas and paying cash to deliver baby in US so their kids can be citizen) are waiting. I was so upset after the appointment and wish I never visited this doctor. I was upset he thinks I couldn't keep my uterus. Later I found another UCLA doctor who just did laparoscopic surgery to remove my 11 cm fibroid two weeks ago. I recover so fast and so well. I realized Dr. Su doesn't have the knowledge of fibroid and giving me the wrong information. If I believed what Dr. Su told me, I have already lost my uterus. I will not recommend anyone to go see this doctor.

I ended up switching doctors because he made me feel so uncomfortable with an inappropriate comment. His front desk staff is extremely rude. I went to him for a hysterectomy, my incision looks terrible and he was late for my surgery. He is extremely conceited and unwilling to take the time to answer any of my questions. I would not recommend him to an enemy.

dr. su is a nice guy but his assistant/receptionist name daphe is unprofessional rude immature i called to find out about refill prescription she was angry at me when i asked how come you havent called the pharmacy yet she said am busy its not my responsibility because of her i will find another doctor from now on. with dr. su every time i see him its always quick which i feel like i dont get enough attention or all my questions answer he need to spend more time with his patients not make it a rush job. daphe is rude receptionist need to be fired.

I liked Dr. Su. I have had 5 children & have been doing this for a while, so I know the ropes. They asked all the right questions & made me feel very comfortable. When I asked a question they listened then explained the answer.

My wife miscarried under the care of Dr Su. They caught the miscarriage at the first ultrasound, but he didn't read the report for 3 weeks. Thus, we had no idea for another 3 weeks. Then, when we were in the room, this guy read the report and say "uh oh." He's an unprofessional doctor and doesn't look out for his patients at all.

Avoid him at all cost - he is not responsible, neither does his assistant. He tries to take as many patients as he can to make as much money as he can.

I visited Dr. Su mainly for my endometriosis. Dr. Su is the typical kind of doctor. He showed me the female organ pictures while explaining my lab report to me and then concluded that there is nothing to worry and nothing to be done. Gave me the prescription for birth control pill and moved onto the next patient. There seems to lack discussion on my symptons, tips and other things. I guess you just can't expect much out of western medicine when it comes to Endometriosis.
