She was a great doctor as long as there was nothing wrong with my kids but when my son turned 2 we had just returned from an international trip and he got a bout of stomach flu which he had got a couple of times. he was throwing up and having to go quite a bit. This dr insisted on giving him his vaccines even though he was sick. I was very hesitant and my intution tole me to wait till he was better and Dr. Gary's was very adamant that he should take the vaccine "it will make his liver healthy" implying that he had returned from a third world county hence needs to be immunized against HEP A immediatly before he could infect perfectly healthy children here. No blood test to confirm or anything...All I asked was to delay the vaccine a week till he gets better.I felt I had to change my kids ped. for this reason. A doctor who cannot put the welfare of my child her first priority during each visit is not the right doc for him.

Dr.Gary and her staff have always been accomodating and very professional. They return phone calls in a timely manner and always talk directly to my son when doing an exam. Dr. Gary is very friendly and will go the extra mile for her patients. Would always recommend Dr. Gary and her partners.

Dr. Gary has been our doctor for over 6 years - she is a great doctor with a lot of knowledge. The staff has always been very quick to respond to messages or emails.

I think this Dr. is very nice and has good knowledge, but we as two people, just had poor comunication styles. I did not appreciate how she handled my child and her dropping low on the weight charts. I would receive conflicting ideas from her as in I would implement her idea only to be told at the next visit that I must stop what I was doing in a rather rude tone. I talked with her staff many times, but could not get her on the the phone. She called me once, the day that these problems began. If this was such a serious problem that might require hospitalization I do not understand how she could not speak with me on the phone. I really feel that this Dr put me into a panic about food intake that no new mother needs to unnecessarily be put into. This all mainly due to a communication problem between the two of us.

Thi dr generalizes every problem and does not look for underlying issues. Seems to think the parent knows nothing and the child always makes things up... Dr is very nice, but I think not very helpful
