The problem I have is witj the fact that I saw this doctor for five years and then when I called for an appointment he was always not available and I was referred to Dr. Guirrere who I did not feel listened as well. But I got used to him.over time. After being a patient for ten years everytimecalget e the after hours clinic with a doctor or PA I've never seen that doesn't know my tory. I have had to tell th blood pressure has bern high 138 over 90's without them mentioning and was told to lose 10 lbs. I exercise four times a week and have fone so since I wAS 16. I was actually asked today - "Are you a patient here?" Prior to the tenth referral to a stranger. Time to shop for a doctor that cares if I live or die.

Chose this Dr for wife when he first started in Bristol. Since then he has always been readily available when needed, Makes time by working late or early. He honestly loves his profession and helping people. Has been very knowledgeable in my treatments for diabetes, heart, and other problems. Now both of my children are patients of his, and they both like him very much. Bottom line is, I trust him and his advice 100\%

I liked Dr Licata. Always very up and encouraging. Gave me wonderful care for many, many years. I always found the staff to be capable and friendly. I never found them to be rude at all. They were very good at getting me in quickly when I got sick. No complaints with Dr. Licata

Very Very knowledgeable in many areas, tries new therapies and alternative ideas. Only problem is the staff. Long wait time and staff is rude and not knowledgeable except for Nadine. She is awesome. My entire family goes and we find him great. Listend and acts on everything you tell him. Does not sit on things. Very proactive.

Out of all the doctors that i have gone to, I think he is the one that does listen to you even if he is running late some of time.I feel he is very thorough.

I have been going to him for 10 years - I find him extremely in tune to what is going on with my medical care.Takes time to thrououghly investigate any complaints, very knowledgeable, caring proactively seek solutions that do not involve meds first and as a last resource will use meds. I would not go to anyone else. Dr-patient relationship needs both people to contribute and if the patients do not give him all the info it is hard to treat them. Never rushes me once in the room, listens to every complaint, acts on all of them. The service and caring of the staff has declined over the years with the departure of several fantastic women - but I stay because Dr. Licata is fantastic, on the ball, treats me with respect, never misses a diagnosis and I can tell him everything without judgement. I think these other people are basing there opinion on perhaps 1 incident not keeping in mind every other great thing he did for them.

DR LICATA DISMISSED ME FROM HIS CARE BECAUSE I WOULD NOT CONTINUE A DRUG HE PERSCRIBED WHEN IT GAVE ME SEVERE CHEST PAIN. HE WAS A VERY GOOD DOCTOR YEARS AGO...I DON'T KNOW WHAT CHANGED. HE DOES NOT LISTEN TO HIS PATIENTS AS IN MY CASE. WHEN I STOPPED THE DRUG THAT GAVE ME THE CHEST PAIN...THE PAIN STOPPED!! I FOUND A NEW LOCAL DOCTOR (DR. CHERNESKIE) WHO DOES LISTEN AND HELP MY WIFE AND MYSELF. GOOD LUCK TO ALL HIS PATIENS.

Comes across as very arrogant. Will not discuss any alternative treatments to what he prescribes. Also, will not refer patients to a specialist - he insisted on treating me himself for a back issue. The problem was his treatments mainly consisted of prescribing narcotics.

I feel he does not answer questionsfully, and does not pay attention to overall patient and whole picture. Very Disatisfied. Most of staff that meet you especially at window to check in are rude.
