asked him on a number of visits what was needed to refer my parents to specialists. Got no call backs and ended up calling specialists myself. Had to call insurance company to find out they required a referral from his office. Requested him to call insurance company to explain condition being addressed. One week later, nothing was done. Still waiting for lab work results after 12 days. Mother was taken to hospital due to deterioration of condition while waiting for Wehrle to make calls. Experienced the same problems with being "talked over" and "uh huh, uh huh" as the standard response. Very frustrating not getting answers to questions. He asks questions and accepts answers of patient without pursuing when told differently by care giver. Very quick to dole out drugs and "lets see what happens".

I went to Dr. Wehrle unable to hardly move my head and neck or even take a step high enough to get on the examine table. He told me I was depressed and prescribed me an anti-depressant. I ended up in the ER and spent FOUR MONTHS in and out of the hospital with a Multiple Sclerosis excerbation. At that point I had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis for EIGHT YEARS but instead of listening to what was going on he brushed me off and put my mobility and health in danger. He is reckless and uncaring. He does not pay attention when you talk to him and just answers with "uh huh". I found a new doctor who makes time for me and takes my health seriously.

Dr. Wehrle has the bedside manner of a dead frog. He will not fill out paperwork need for insurance or work purposes, and because of this I have lost a couple of FMLA claims. I'm glad I never have to see him again.

I HAVE BEEN SEEING DR. WHERLE FOR MANY YEARS. HE HAS ALWAYS LISTENED TO MY COMPLAINTS, TAKEN CARE OF WHAT HE COULD AND REFERRED ME TO SPECIALISTS WHEN POSSIBLE. MY ENTIRE FAMILY SEES DR. WHERLE AND ALL OF FEEL HE IS THE BEST DR. WE'VE EVER HAD. HE WAS THE FIRST DR. WHO ACTUALLY HELPED MY HUSBAND WITH A RARE AND CHRONIC CONDITION THAT HAD AFFECTED OUR LIVES FOR YEARS. WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT DR.WHERLE AND CONSIDER OURSELVES LUCKY TO HAVE HIM SO CONVENIENTLY LOCATED TO OUR HOME IN PALMYRA.

Dr. Wehrle's answer for everthing is "lets wait it out and see what happens". I had gallstones, I saw the ultra sound, although the lady couldn't tell me what was there she told me what gallstones would look like if I had them and then pointed to my gallbladder on the screen and there were gallstones, the problem was the Doc that read the test read the wrong one and Dr. Wehrle wouldn't believe me. He told me he could give me pain meds. As for me being unable to eat and jaundice, I probably had hepatitis and I should just wait it out and see where it goes. At this point I couldn't stop crying, told him this had been going on for 7 months & it was getting worse. He then yelled at me and said this was the 1st time he'd heard about it (normally I see the N.P. when I go to the office) I yelled right back at him the he wasn't the only doctor I've seen. He doesn't listen when you talk and on the rare occassion he does he doesn't believe you.

Dr Wehrle is nice enough, but does not seem to listen. He will literally talk right over you as you are trying to talk to him - he's not trying to be rude, but it was irritating to have him do this. He also ruined my chances to having an abdominalplasty following my gastric bypass by not listing the problems I had presented to him several times, so the insurance company denied it due to the fact that there was no "medical history" of infections. He never bothered to write them down! I found another doctor after that happened.
