Just met her yesterday and hoping she isn't the one to deliver our baby, since we have to meet all of the doctors just in case ours isn't available. First she was 40 min late. When she arrived, she didn't introduce herself. She seemed rushed. I told her we were planning a natural child birth and she said "Just keep an open mind. Hopefully you'll have an easy, spontaneous birth, but some women need to be induced". I didn't feel she was on board at all, but already ready to be in a rush. When it was time to sit up, being 33 wks pregnant, she didn't offer me a hand like the other doctors have and I struggled. All in all, I was not pleased with her.

Our childbirth class instructor told us to write a birth plan so we did. I thought it might be a good idea to have the doctors see it ahead of time so I brought it during a prenatal visit. Dr. Hugge would not look at it and seemed to shut down once I brought it up. She said, "we don't accept birth plans, we don't sign them, it's not a legal contract, and it won't go in your chart." Whoa. I didn't ask for it to be signed, and I realize it's not a contract. I'm sure she's encountered patients with unreasonable expectations in the past, but I thought it was inappropriate to assume that I was one of them. I've been very disappointed with this practice as a whole. The receptionists have not been able to give me a copy of what I owe for three visits in a row now after I had to call my insurance company and them to fix an error that the office made (they calculated my deductible for a family plan even though my insurance company told them it was an individual plan).

I love Dr. Hugge! I just moved back from out of state three years after my first pregnancy just to start seeing her again.

I recently starting seeing Dr. Hugge as a new patient, and also for my first pregnancy. My first office visit, I felt very rushed and like she was reading a generic version of what to expect in your first pregnancy. She almost didn't stop to even take a breath, and definitely didn't let me get a word or any questions in. The office staff is very nice, I was just disappointed with this doctor. I also had a blood test come back abnormal a couple of weeks ago, and called asking to speak with Dr. Hugge about her opinion. The staff keeps telling me that they will have her call me, but I have yet to receive a call back. I think during pregnancy, especially us first-timers, these doctor should be extra sensitive to our questions and definitely should not want their patients to sit and fret, waiting weeks on a call back!!

I had low hormone levels, but was pregnant. I started to bleed and asked to come in and see my doctor. Dr. Hugge was too busy to see me. After a lot of begging and waiting see did see me. No exam was done we just talked. She told me she anticipated that I would miscarry due to my low hormone levels. She kept saying there is nothing we could do. I wasn't expecting her to be able to save this pregnancy. I was expecting that she could tell me what to expect, or anything to ease my pain. Instead I received attitude for even coming into her office. I miscarried an hour after I left her office. She never wanted a follow up visit. I will never go back to her office nor would I recommend her to anyone!

I went to see Dr. Hugge for a pre-conception visit. I felt she took time to listen and explain. I did not feel rushed in any way and she sat with my husband and I for at least 20-25 minutes. I learned more from one visit with her than I did in 5 years with my previous doctor. She is young but I feel very intelligent and knowledgeable. She was very patient and kind.

Dr Hugge is great! She's part of a wonderful practice in general. She is not my normal OB but saw her during one of my pregnancy appointments. She was so knowledgeable and very patient. Very calming personality. I found her to be very pleasant and would not mind at all seeing her again.
