Dr Arnecilla and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. She took on my healthcare which is a little complicated and immediately took action. I am very grateful to her and the staff at ADC.

My visit with Dr. Arnecilla was literally the strangest visit I’ve ever had with a doctor. Straight off the bat, she was extremely presumptuous about one of the medications I was taking, speaking to me with a fairly condescending tone. She had a didactic demeanor about her that was so off-putting it was almost humorous. For it being my first visit with her, she was needlessly aggressive. Most of her staff seemed unprofessional and more like the chatty-gossipy type. My insurance plan changed shortly after visiting her and I’ve never been more grateful to be moving on to a new provider. SIDE: If you’re on ACA and having to deal with switching insurance providers yearly/explaining your entire medical history to a new person, avoid this doctor at all costs.

I've been trying for over three months to get the endocrinologistHRT referral from Dr. A. Every time she adds something new I have to do before she'll give me the referral. Now she's run out of reasons to charge my insurance company money. Not only is she refusing to return my calls asking for the referral or why not, but the front staff reported that the nurse wasn't even allowed to return my call to say that she got my messages that I left. I finally went to her office asking to speak with her or the nurse about why I hadn't gotten the referral. I was told the paperwork was ready to be sent but Dr. A decided not to work that Friday so it hadn't been approved yet. I said I would wait to see her even after being warned about how long a wait it would be. After almost an hour of waiting, the nurse gave me a pen and paper to write a note to Dr. A. I called again next day. Still no word almost a month later. Take your $$ for an HRT referral elsewhere.

I see Dr Arnecilla at Nextcare urgent care on 620, so I'm not familiar with her office staff. But I am very thankful for Dr Arnecilla, she is very friendly and her diagnoses have been spot on. I don't understand all of the negative reviews below. Dr Arnecilla is an awesome physician and a very kind person in my opinion.

Their website claims to treat transgendered patients. This is a LIE. I have been trying for TWO YEARS to get an appointment with Dr. Arnecilla but to no avail. Every time I call I am denied. Yes, the staff is extremely rude. I have had the woman there at the office hang up on me when I was in mid sentence. If you need HRT, go to Kate Wanstrom at Central Family Practice. She is a nurse, not a doctor, but she will help you. She is the only person in Austin, that I know of, who will do HRT for trans people. Yay "progressive" Austin!

BEWARE*BEWARE* Nurse Johnson will treat you poorly. Dr. A's nurse is mean, rude and has NO bedside manner or professionalism. Nurse Johnson lies about patient interactions when she acts unethically. She acts on dr. A's behalf and it seems like she runs the place. Dr. A is well AWARE of this and it seems she is not be bothered if her nurse reacts angrily and she loses patients because of it. *Find a good doctor with great staff, don't waste your time*

Dr Arnecilla no longer treats transgender patients, just fyi. It says she does on her website, but after scheduling for an appointment, two months in advance, I got there and was told we're no longer treating trans people. What's next, no african americans? CHANGE YOUR WEBSITE.

Dr. Arnecilla is down to earth, gets to know you, and takes time to explain details. Much better experience now that there is new front desk staff.
