Top notch! I found him because my kidney doctor told me that Palega is the doctor that other doctors go to for their health. Now I see why. The staff was a bit slow on responding and the phones stink- but still worth it.

Outstanding doctor. One of the best trained and best respected by other doctors. He really helped me when other doctors were stumped. He also valued my time and stayed right on schedule-which is very rare!

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR. PALEGA'S FOR OVER TEN YEARS. UNTIL THE LAST THREE YEARS I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH HIM AS MY PHYSICIAN. HOWEVER, OVER THE LAST THREE YEARS IT HAS BECOME IMPOSSIBLE TO TALK TO HIM. HE COMES IN FOR ABOUT FIVE MINUTES, ORDERS SOME RANDOM TESTS, DOES NOT ALLOW TIME TO ASK HIM ANY QUESTIONS AT ALL, THEN BREEZES OUT THE DOOR. HE HAS BECOME VERY INEFFECTIVE AS A PHYSICIAN. I HAD THE UTMOST RESPECT FOR THIS PHYSICIAN. I NOW HAVE VERY LITTLE RESPECT FOR HIM AND AM LOOKING FOR A NEW DOC.

Dr. Palaga is very well trained & super-intelligent, however, I waited well over 45 mins. to only see him for 5 mins. and he acted like he didn't have time to listen. He only looks at his laptop typing notes as you are talking, then he throws out an instant diagnosis and prepares to leave. No discussion. I had some other questions but he was in such a hurry he told me to make another appointment to discuss it, that he had other patients to see. I did not get a good answer to the issue I saw him about and had other questions he didn't have time to hear. I had been going to him over 3 years but his quality of service has deteriorated steadily. I view his manner as rude, impatient, and curt. He may be a very good and highly qualified physician but I cannot recommend him!

I have been a patient of this Doctor for the past 5 years, I have also been terminated, no communication from him, just a certified letter giving me 30 days.We had some difference about treatment that went from me to his nurse. He has never once spoke to me about this. Just the letter. I feel he has a right to do this, but I also feel a courtesy call from him would of been the right thing to do. I am on coumadin (blood thinners)and need a blood test monthly. I was really upset at first, but now I am glad he did this. I feel that now I can find a Doctor who will have open communications with me. Doctor Palega was always rushing out the door, the last time I seen him I was asking him question in the hall..Good Luck to all that use him..

He failed to listen to my complaints. Now, my disease is not treatable. He seems to have lost touch with his patients.

I have been seen by this doctor. He automatically orders a CT exam. When that come back unresponsive and I'm still in pain, I visit again. "I DON'T prescribe narcotics!" Like I'm a drug pusher, my husband is a deputy sheriff and I work in a pharmacy myself. After going through 3 more CT scans and a MRI, he still doesn't know whats going on. I'm still in pain to this day. I'm grateful only on one aspect he got me into a neurologist who hopefully can find out what's wrong. I recieved a letter on Sept. 24 dated the 31st of August stating that he will not being seeing me any longer. The only reason I know from the "head nurse" is that we "are not a good match". After going through all this tormoil and plenty of money they now tell me this. He left me 1 week to find a new provider being that they sent the letter via certified mail. I'm not the first to be kicked out of his practice and I'm sure I won't be the last either. If you are in the Wilmington area don't go to Dr. Palega!!!!!
