I would NEVER go back to this doctor. He refuses to listen to my complaints...even went as far as to say I am lazy because I have ongoing severe chest pains (he has also told me it was just in my head and that I am just depressed). Tells me to go out walking and jogging when he knows I have a failed knee (waiting for knee replacement). Another doctor diagnosed me with costocontritis and said I would need a cortisone shot for the pain. Dr Sorweide failed to even examine me for this problem, and said I do not have it....no cortisone shot and still in extreme pain from it. In my opinion, this doctor needs to spend more time LISTENING and less time trying to get his patients to join a health club.

Even though I had heard negatives about his knowledge and his arrogant manner, I choose to give him a try. Regretfully, it's all true. He does not listen or care. DO NOT go to this Doctor...you will get nothing resolved!

Dr. Sorweide denied me pain medication due to an outstanding bill of $130. I have spent the last four days in pain with very little sleep. Beware of a Drs. greed.

First visit, he was fine and quite chatty because we both come from the same area of Southern Nevada, but two or three subsequent visits regarding my 14 yr old daughter's ADD issues left me disgusted and completely disrespected as a patient and as a mother. He ended up telling us that she was merely stressed and ADD was not her problem at all. My daughter and I both laughed all the way home at how off-base and wrong he was. NO HELP, thanks, Dr. Sorweide.

I had my first visit with sorweide today, i have cracking popping and grinding and pain in lots of my joints, and unexplained bruising and swelling in my knee. gave out three wks ago and i slipped and hurt my bacI am 21 years old. he poked and prodded for a few minutes being extremely rough twisting my knee and should around. i am a very small just over 100 lbs and despite my complaints of pain he kept manhandling me. having a lump in my left breast he tried to feel for it through my bra and shirt in a way i felt was very innapropriate and unproffesional. After telling him to stop and that i was not comfortable he was very rude and said i have mental health problems and that i am delusional about everything. told me to stop waisting taxpayers money by being on oregon health plan and that he would waist time or money on me when there is nothing wrong i strarted to cry and try to explain to him that i am not able to sleep or do normal activities because of the pain. he just walked out...

He should be practicing medicine in the Artic to minimize the damage he does to patients and their families.

He mis-diagnosed my wife as having TMJ for two years. She trusted his opinion. When we had it checked by a second doctor, he insisted she have X-rays immediately. Sorweide never suggested this. The X-rays showed it to be a tumor under her ear. After surgery the tumor turned out to be cancerous.

I aw Dr. Sorweide about pain I was having in my side. When he pushed on my side it crunched and popped and was HORRIBLY painful. He assured me it was nothing to be worried about, a week later the pain was worse and I began coughing up blood and he saw me again. This time he was very rude and offended I would question his "you're fine" dx. I left and went to the ER where they discovered 3 broken ribs, one of which was poking in my lung. Glad I didn't die!

I find it rather disturbing that I was a patient of Dr. Sorweide for 2 yrs. before I acutally met him. I transferred my care to that office specifically because he is a D.O. and I have some extreme issues going on with my back and the medications I have to take. For a long while, it appeared he wasn't interested.
