Dr. Loucks is a very kind and compassionate physician. His staff is well strained and excellent on all levels.

Sorry to disagree but I found him to be dangerously ignorant. I went to him with hypothyroid symptoms and he told me I was depressed. Prescribed anitdepressants, didn't know how to manage the drugs and threw me into withdrawl. I had to rely on a doctor that was a friend to help me get off the Rx mess he put me on. Years later, I find out that all along, I had Hashimotos Disease, an auto-immune disease in which the thyroid is under attack. He did not see it/understand it or diagnose it. Again, I feel he is dangerously ignorant.

Dr. Loucks is the best Doctor I have ever had in my life (65 years old) but he is leaving Southern Medical to work with Rehabilitation Patients. What a tremendous loss for Southern Medical. And for me.

Dr Loucks is a terrific MD---He's been my primary for years--I trust his judgement--he's seen me successfully through several health challenges----I couldn't and wouldn't trust anyone else in this town.

Dr. Loucks is the best doctor Ive ever had in 62 years. He always makes me feel as though he sincerely cares about my well being. He answers all of my questions and when he doesnt know an answer he admits it and searches until he finds the correct answer instead of bluffing like too many other MDs try to do.
