I have been going to Dr. Figliola for several years and unfortunately have several ongoing health issue. He always remembers everything we have tried and discussed in the past. I can always get in the same day when I'm sick. His staff is so friendly they always greet me right away when I come in and his Office Manager (she has been there for several years) was very instrumental in helping me with my new insurance.

I've been going to Dr. Fig for approximately 4 years and 80% of the time it is like pulling teeth to get an appointment made. I was in a car accident and When I made the appointment the person did not tell me that I needed to authorize the ER report before the doctor could see me. After I waitied 45 minutes they finally told me that the doctor couldn't see me today because they didn't have the results from the ER visit. I of course because 'difficult' after waiting 45 minutes only to be told that I would have to come back. I left the office with the understanding that they were getting the test results from the hospital and would reschedule. Well they just called me and they told me that they will not see me for the accident and that I should not ever come back to the office. The front office staff is rude, difficult, and incompetent. Rather than the doctor wondering why patients are being difficult he simply backs up his staff and 'divorces' you...unprofessional.

Dr. Figliola has been our family doctor for many years. My visits in the past have been minimum, but due to a recent, new diagnosis, I have had to see him more. The biggest downfall to him, is that he doesn't do phone consultations, so no matter what I have to go in and pay my co-pay, even it's just to talk about my bloodwork results, which is ridiculous in my opinion! Needless to say, I can't afford to make an appointment and pay my co-pay ANY time I want/need to simply speak with the doctor, that's absurd, especially after signing consent to TALK TO ME ABOUT IT OVER THE PHONE! I am in the process of finding a new family Physician based on that reason alone. Overall, I was pleased Dr. Fig, up until this point.

I think he becomes too comfortable with patients and he doesnt take their concerns seriously. I have seen him for years and I always feel like he doesnt take me seriously when I have something wrong. He sends me to a specialist for everything. Overall, he is a nice guy and just an ok doctor. I like his partner Dr Gelia but their older blonde "overdone" office manager is the worst ever. She has made me want to switch doctors more than once.

I had been a patient for 10 years and all of a sudden they started making mistakes with my account and telling me inaccurate information. When they found their mistake they didn't do anything to refund my money for my visit which was covered under insurance but they did not submit. I finally get the refund back myself after contacting the GMS billing department and explaining the situation to them. They became very rude with me and started to attack me personally and state they had to check and see if I was in collections when I never owed them money ever unless due to their negligence. The office staff was very rude and told me I could no longer be seen. Dr. Figliola even got on the phone and told me they sent me a "divorce letter" and when I asked him if it was mailed because I never got it he blatantly said "yes, you did". I never got it or I would never have wasted my time thinking I could get in for an appointment. They refused me medical treatment.

He is a wonderful Doc. Been seeing him for years! Always patient (no pun intended - notice spelling) and kind. Thoughtful and helpful. I would recommend this Doc to anyone who asks. He helped me with my meds - getting the right dosage for my tremmors and blood pressure. His staff and nurses are kind and really take the time to listen. I went in one time on a Thursday to do a blood test (pregnancy) at first they told me that I would have to wait until the beginning of the next week - which is understandable - they called me on Saturday to give me results. Superb - that is all I can say!

Dr. Figliola is relatively easy to get in to see; within a week, earlier if needed. I had been on some meds for years before I came to him, and, after discussing their effectiveness with me, he reordered what I had been taking. He suggested a change only if from brand to generic or if a different drug which was available in generic would be as effective. If you have anything more than a hang nail, though, he wants you to see a specialist. Only gives prescriptions for 3 months at a time, and you have to have labs (usually) and an office visit for refills. He's not a good example for patients, though. He badly needs to lose some weight, so he had better not tell me to lose some (although I know I need to).

I was prescribed ear drops for an ear infection, and they did not seem to be working. I felt that this might be the result of my ear canal being so swollen that the medicine was not reaching the infected area. After calls to his office explaining this through his receptionist, an expensive oral antibiotic drug with no generic equivalent was called in. In the past I have been prescribe Amoxicillin for this type of infection and it worked great. My wife has had a similar experience with drugs being prescribe with no generic equivalent. I do not plan on using this doctor again.
