The Staff does all the work, while he walks in for 20 seconds to peel off his business card from the stack to hand you along with white coat diagnoses. The BP measurement was “high” taken by the nurse yet neither the MA or he took the time to verify it! Mind you 1 measurement on each arm and he’s adding additional BP Med to be taken! He didn’t care about what my BP history has been over the past year, taken every 3 months by my Primary Care Doctor where each time my BP has been fine. I went ahead and got the ordered tests done, and demanded hard copies of the reports. I had to ask 3 times to get one of them. Reviewed the Reports with my Primary Care Doctor, called the Rashtian’s office and canceled the follow up appointment. When asked about rescheduling, I told them nope he’s fired!

Dr. Rashtian is rude, arrogant and unhelpful. He is difficult to communicate with. His English on reports is poorly written. He orders many tests and procedures that may not be necessary, possibly to run up the bill for his services. He refuses simple requests like a letter regarding cardiac status. I would not recommend him. His office staff is also rude and not helpful.

Dr. Rashtian is rude and doesn't listen to your concerns, or listen to your heart, well that was my experience, and just sent me right back to the original cardiologist; it was insulting that he told me to buy and EKG portable so I can run as many EKG's as I wanted, first of all why did he think i could read and EKG, such a horrible experience, he may be an amazing cardiologist but you have to have a good rapport with your patients and not treat them like trash. A wall has more sensitivity than he, his medical assistant and his PA. They suck when it comes to personality.

Dr Rahtian is an excellent cardiac electrophysiologist. I had history of SVT and WPW for more than 20 years and I saw different physicians and everyone told me that Dr Rashtian is one of the best electrophysiologists in the country. I had my ablation at Huntington hospital in Pasadena, and I went home the same day. I feel great and fee like a new person. He was extremly caring and competent. I would recommend him to anyone with arrhythmia disorders

Dr. Rashtian performed heart surgery on me (I'm 34) and I have not had any problems for the past 2 years. The office is efficient and wonderful! He called me when I needed help and was very attentive. He was so calming to me before and after my surgery! I would highly recommend him to anyone!!
