I've been seeing Dr. Peress for years and have been really happy with his care. He is thorough, knowledgeable, polite, and respectful of patients. I trust him implicitly and have built a friendly rapport with him and his staff. I recommend him without reservation!!

I found out I was pregnant and had heavy bleeding for a few days. My doctor was out of town so I was forced to see Dr. Preress. He was beyond rude and arrogant. It was already a very frightening experience since I wasn't sure I was losing the pregnancy. His words to me without even examining me were "Oh you're too old to be pregnant, you're not pregnant...don't get your hopes up". I asked if the urine test came back positive and he said "Yes, but you are not pregnant and if you are, you will lose it". So I insisted that he examine me, which he did but was very rough and angry during the exam. Needless to say, I lost that pregnancy, but I filed a complaint with my medical group and insurance company immediately. He is not a good doctor at all and I would suggest finding a new doctor if you value your health and the health of your baby. I am now pregnant again 14 weeks along, and my regular OBGYN apologized for Dr. Peress's behavior saying I am not the first complaint he has heard and that he promises not to leave me in the hands of that man during this pregnancy. I can't imagine how Dr. Peress is still practicing!

I have to agree with all the ladies who had negative experience. He is knowledgable BUT unfriendly, can not ask him questions, he does not like to explain and he makes you feel bad for asking wuestions and thats very Sad ! Very quick to rush out of the room. I was with him for 2 kids and he never warmed upto me. Horrible.

I had a PAP with Dr. Peress; he didnt explain what he was doing. No patient interaction at all. Im a nurse and I realize the importance of talking to a patient especially while doing a procedure. Very fast and eager to move on to the next patient. I will be looking for a different Ob/GYN.

i didn't know he went to 'univercidad autonoma guadalajara'.... if i would of known that... i would of never gone with him..... who knows if he even did go.... he is not so very friendly.... made me feel very scared....

My experience with leo peress was the worst medical treatment of my life. After a procedure, I developed an infection and after 2 office visits where he denied any problem I went to another dr who immediately identified the problem as a negative outcome of the previous procedure. I never went back to peress. The worst md and the most arogant

Dr. Peress is great! I've never felt so comfortable with a OBGYN in my life. He has been very helpful and kind and gentle with the PAPs. He put my IUD in 8 years ago and I had no problems and he took my IUD out about 2 months ago because my husband and I are trying to conceive. I am happy to say that Dr. Peress will be the doctor to deliver my babies for sure!!!!
