He over-charges and makes appointments too frequently. He wants to charge for in-office tests and readings as much as he can. He charges maximum for all lab tests. He uses antiquated tests for thyroid impairments - total T4 and total T3. I had to ask for free T4 and free T3 and still had to pay for useless total T4 and total T3 tests at his insistence. When my thyroid tests measurements exceeded the maximum limits while testing to learn the correct dosage of thyroid medication, he was willing to over-dose me if I were willing. I flatly refused and demanded the correct dosage. This doctor is out to make money mostly and cares little about the quality of care he provides. He is too old to practice medicine and hasn't kept up with modern advancements in his field. STAY AWAY.

LOVE Dr Orzeck,Faith Sanders and Clara! Found Dr Orzeck to be very accomodating and listen and genuinely care. There's a couple on the staff that could do better and the office is always busy but that's also a sign of a good doctor. Thanks to this man, my thyroid is under control.

I am a Type 1 diabetic and a past patient of this guy.He never failed to tell me what a great doctor is is, each and every time I went to see him.I went to see him for a period of about 6 months and in all that time he never once as much as took my blood pressure. He was always in some kind of conflict with his receptionist and they would snip at each other back and forth. I FINALLY decided he was doing nothing at all to help me and I moved over to UT Medical Center where I have gained great help. If you want to know my opinion of this guy it is that he should not even have a medical license! I mean that with all seriousness people.

I went to 6 doctors and spent $10k for extreme itching ( bruises all over my body from scratching, sleeping 1 hour per night etc) before getting to Dr. Orzeck. The other doctors told me nothing was wrong with me, but Dr. Orzeck figured out that the problem was my thyroid immediately. I have been his patient for 4 years and I've never had another problem. He is the best doctor I've ever encountered.

Dr. Orzeck and his staff has been treating my autistic and diabetic 30 year old daughter for about 8 years. He and the staff (especially Ms. Saunders)are wonderful with her, very patient and compassionate. They also take the time to answer my questions. The wait is a little long, but I have resolved that by getting a 7:30am appointment. Usually in and out by 8:30-8:45am. Absolutely love this man and his team.

I had been to probably 8 doctors over an 18 month time span and NONE of them figured out what my problem was, except for one who ran an ultrasound and realized my thyroid was enlarged and I had a 1 cm nodule, but they just wanted to watch it for me. Dr. Orzeck began treatment immediately and was shocked that the other doctor didn't. I have seen a major improvement in my fatigue, the rashes are almost completely gone and I'm starting to notice a slight drop in my weight. He is very attentive and informative as is his staff. Highly recommend him.
