His mother was a bitch! I spent an hour with Dr DiTeresa every morning at the hospital before he had to go on his rounds. We were extremely great friends. Dr
DiTeresa could not have a life or a girlfriend because his mother controlled his every move, and drove everyone out of his life! She showed up to a Monastery to make sure he wasn’t lying to her that he wasn’t out of town with a girlfriend! Of course she had to stay the whole time and took away from him the peace he wanted. She controlled his personal life and his business life. He was the sweetest person you would ever meet. All the negative remarks about him so untrue. If his mother didn’t like you, she would cut you out of his life, both personally and professionally. RIP my sweet friend. I know you’re up there with your dad.

Dr Diteresa was an excellent physician. There were never wait times for appointments, which is unheard of. The staff was helpful enough He didn't quite understand my issue, but no one knows everything and that's why there are specialists. RIP Dr Diteresa

I began seeing dr. Teresa 15 years ago. At that time he was a thoughtful, professional, caring physician. Unfortunately, his mother is his office manager and they have become extremely codependent. I have never met a more negative woman, and it rubbed off on him. He became a 5 minute "Hi, how you doing, here's a prescripton, see ya." pill pusher. Most likely that's a result of medicare's low reimbursements and his mother's horrible attitude.
You'll have to make an appointment to get a prescription refilled or the results of your labs. Patient records were oftin scattered all over the office in haphazard fashion,, and in all honesty, our veterinarian runs a more professional office and shows more comcern for our dog's wellbeing than Dr. DeTeresa does for mine.
That's a severe judgment on my part, but it's an honest one. There may be extenuating circumstances that I am unaware of, however, that doesn't change what should be the most important aspect, which is patient care. Don't make your choice of doctors based on this or any other review. See for yourself and make your own informed decision.

This doc used to be excellent, taking his time and thinking outside the box most Western medicine folks stay in. My physical was him taking my blood pressure with legs dangling and arm hanging down over my sleeve, then prescribing me a dose of BP meds that I had been on 2 years before as I lost 65 pounds...really? He ordered labs without discussing what was being ordered. His office staff coded the labs wrong so instead of getting free labs as part of my physical, I got billed. The staff won't fix it even after my bill was sent to collections by the lab. There are always excuses, the lab coder is not there, the lab coder no longer works here, etc. They will never commit to taking care of it. They don't care and it is no wonder they have signs all over the office and exam rooms warning you to be nice or keep your thoughts to yourself. Too bad this doc and his staff went the way of 10-minute appointments and poor patient service.

Had DiTeresa at Tomball Hospital----DO NOT USE. He was rude and abrupt o his rounds. Could not answer my questions and didn't bother to try to find the answer. ASK for someone else. Hospital nurses are better help than this doctor!
