Dr. Houle and PA Jennifer Miller provided a miserable, unprofessional and unsatisfactory service. Impatient, dismissing, uninterested and abrasive are the first words that come to mind. They are not empathetic to the point of being cold and uninterested. I was scolded by his PA for concerns and indecision. Dr. Houle would get up and leave in he middle of an exchange. Even in the hospital. Always somewhere more important to be. I felt pressured and intimidated by the insistence of doing things 'his way'. Jennifer backed that up by having the same attitude.. Turns out 'his way' sucked. I am worse off now after he short circuited my spine. More pain, less strength and a leg has shrunken from atrophy. There not clear instructions as to my home care and my out patient surgery turned into a 2 night hospital stay due to unbearable post op pain. I have NOTHING positive to say about the nightmare of my experience with Dr. Houle.

This doctor did not respond to my calls even though I repeatedly told the staff that my husband was in an extreme abount of pain. It took 2 weeks to get an appt. based on the information that he was suffering. We asked to have the dr. call and he never did.
