I have suffered with spinal stenosis for several years, and I saw a surgeon who recommended inserting a cage with pegs to relieve my symptoms. My family encouraged me to seek a second opinion and I bless the day I met Dr Valiante. He maintains more of a philosophy of minimal invasive surgery, and best outcome for his patients. I had a micro surgery to remove bone and ligament from my spine and within a few weeks am feeling better than I have in years. Dr. Valiante is a skilled and experienced surgeon, on the leading edge of best methods. He has a wonderfully warm and kind bedside manner, and surrounds himself with equally kind people, like his administrator Olga, and his fellow Dr. Ahmad Elsawy. I really feel myself very, very fortunate, and highly recommend Dr. Valiante and his team.

Dr. Valiante and his team did an excellent job in helping me to manage my severe spinal stenosis. My minimally invasive lumbar decompression surgery was effectively completed through a small surgical incision in my lower back and Dr. Valiante’s post-surgery follow up has been great. His Admin Assistant, Olga, has done a superb job in diligently communicating with me both pre- and post-surgery and she always ensured that an appropriate team member met my needs in a timely manner. Moreover Dr. Valiante has been gracious in answering the set of key questions that I had in regards to my surgery and was most responsive in referring me for supplemental post-surgery consultation. I consider myself blessed to have received such wonderful care.

I would like to say that ever since I was referred to Dr. Taufik Valiante after Dr. Bernstein went into oncology division I’ve have had the upmost respect for Dr. Valiante , his associate, staff and everyone from administrative staff (Olga) to all those who attended my needs, I can’t say enough to them all.
Now for Dr. Valiante there are no words to show my upmost gratitude for all he has done for me over the years. After many surgeries I must say I’m a different person health wise.

Dr.Valiante is such a great surgeon and I recommend him to anyone. I’ve recently had brain surgery for Epilepsy and thankfully everything has been successful. Before surgery I had mentioned to Dr. Valiante how much my hair means to me and he let me know that I had nothing to worry about. After I completed surgery the scar was so neat and because of taking what I asked for into consideration, the scar has healed perfectly. Months later and it looks like I haven’t even had any brain surgery and things has been going well. Dr.Valiante truly cares for his patients. Thank you for making me feel comfortable through this process and I’m grateful for you and your team.

Maybe I caught him on a bad day but he did not have any bedside manners and he was not empathetic. Neurosurgery is a huge thing. He quickly explained the risks and benefits, and then sat there with a flat affect while I was emotional. It almost felt like I was wasting his time.
