I have used Dr. Bautista for conveniance to hospital and he was recommended by OB. While I adore his staff, I became concerned about his attitude about 9 years ago. I am not sure if he is just grumpy or just really mean. He is just not as patient with the children, parents or his staff as he once was. At this point, I only use his office if I need shots or just cant get in at the new doc office. I do belive he knows medicine but he is just not very friendly.

Dr Authro was refer to me by a friend. But after going a few time i notice that he was rude. I can say that his staff have always been friendly and consist.I do like the conv. of make same day appointment. How ever every time Ive taken my child to him, he did not listen to my concerns about my child. I hate to say that this is due to his age, a langauge barrier or if this is his normal. I even dislike to believe it's a racial thing as well. I would be cautous of taking my child there because I believe some things would be over looked and could cost you dearly. Fortunaly I was able to get my child away from his practice and go somewhere that they are concern and thoughtful. (please excuse my spelling)

When my son was born in 1998, his pediatrician (Dr. Kennedy) who was excellent, was retiring and recommended Dr. Bautista. He is still my sons physician. Always courteous & takes time to explain or address any concerns we have. Used to make this funny duck sound when looking in my sons ears!! Too funny. Laurie was a nurse when my son was a baby. She was so sweet and patient. Left to take care of her own child eventually. However, from the desk to the staff, we have always had personable and pleasant people. Dr. Bautista is a humanitarian as well (documented by news ads I have seen over the years). The older my son gets the less we have to go in but when we do, we try to get a peek at him because, yes, his wife is in the office. Find her charming as well. He will be our doctor until he decides to retire.

I hated him the minute h opened his mouth. Dr Bautista was very rude, and did not care to find out or listen to my concerns. He hurt my son's feelings, and I wll yell at him if he tries it next time. It is unfortunate that I have to deal with him because his wife is away...

I have used this doctor for 16 years. My son was the first and my daughter is now 11 yeasr old. I would not used any other doctor besides Dr. Bautista. My son had this very rare disease(HSP)and I took him to different doctors and none of them know what it is, until Dr. B knew without examine him right on the spot. It took my son 8 weeks to get rid of this disease. Now my 11 year old daughter when she was 5 years old she came down with pnuemonia and he admided her asap. she was in the hospital next to his his office for 3 days. He is the best.

Daughter placed in NICU immediately after birth for "respiratory distress syndrome". Dr. Bautista performed her initial evaluation 2 days later and stated she was in great condition and would be home within 3-4 days. She was sent to TCH for emergency open heart surgery at 13 days old for rare, life-threatening congenital heart defect...
