Terrible terrible Staff. I honestly am in shock at how rude his nurse is. Its bizarre level nastiness to their own patients.

I would never recommend this doctor!! Please do your research when choosing a physician for your child. Read all of the reviews before you choose. We have been treated so badly by Dr. Baldwin and his office. Every phone call, we were told for weeks on end that he was busy and he would never return out phone calls. Even after my son's surgery!! His wife/nurse just hung up on me. Very rude and unprofessional lady!!! They do not care about you or your child. Just read what past patients have had to say and you will see that it's how they operate. Good luck and keep looking!

Very disappointing. Skye was so rude, unprofessional, condescending and even began giving (inaccurate) medical advice over the phone.

Skye Baldwin is a nurse working for her husband, Dr. Charles Baldwin. She demonstrated a gross lack of compassion and care operating as the nurse to my child. My son was circumcised recently at their practice. He has always been a very happy and easy-going baby. He is not a big crier and if he cries at all, it is exclusively for a reason that, once addressed, ceases all crying immediately. After the surgery I could not soothe my son. He was in pain and inconsolable for hours. I thought this was probably normal, he did just have surgery after all. To be on the safe side I called Dr. Baldwins office to inquire about his personality change. Skye had specifically stated multiple times that he would not be in any pain whatsoever after going home from the surgery. He seemed obviously in pain to me and I told her as much, with an inquiry on what I should do to help him.

Skye became immediately defensive and actually downright nasty. She snapped at me that my child was not in pain, that that was impossible. She stated that my son was crying because he had colic. This was beyond offensive and frankly completely inaccurate. My son is the opposite of colicky. I began to get upset and she told me then that she was really sorry that I was struggling so terribly with all my post partum hormones. I felt completely invalidated as a parent to my baby, their patient. My baby who was suffering in pain, and she did not have the tiniest shred of empathy or care for any of us in my family. I also attempted to speak with Dr. Charles Baldwin at that point, to ask him a few questions about my son's surgical procedure and ensure everything was normal. Skye told me my son and I were not a priority and that he wouldn't be able to speak to us for several days.

Never in my life have I been treated by a medical professional the way that Skye Baldwin treated my son and I. It was a degrading and horrible experience. The level of care that my child received was beyond unacceptable. I am reporting her to the Texas Medical Board, and I suggest anyone else who has been abused by Skye Baldwin to do the same. No one with her bedside manner has any business operating in the healthcare industry.

WOW! What an amazing doctor and staff! I am confused by the “patient” who called his nurse a hag. Our experience was nothing short of wonderful.

We are very Happy with Dr. Baldwin and his staff we have know him 12 years ago very professional,wonderful skilked physician is the most awesome person and his Nurse/Wife I been called them Many times and they we re very please with me and my family .I highly recomendé him and his staff .God Bless You .We love you.

I am not sure about the one star ratings. As a member of the San Antonio medical community, I am thankful to have Dr. Baldwin available to not only the community of San Antonio, but my family members as well. Most medical professionals I know recommend Dr Baldwin to their patients and family. Wonderful, skilled physician and kind caring staff

I can't speak for the person that gave Dr. Baldwin only 1 star, but I will say this: All doctors are imperfect humans. They have good days and bad. They make mistakes, and can sometimes come across as superior. My personal experience with Dr. Baldwin was awesome. My 11 month old son had a tumor/cyst in his left lower leg and we were terrified. Dr. Baldwin listen to our concerns, respected our religious beliefs and gave us his plan. Everything worked out perfect. We could not be happier. The only downside was our last visit with Dr. Baldwin, when he told us that our son no longer had to come back. I would highly recommend Dr. Baldwin and his wonderful staff.

Dr. Baldwin and his staff were amazing. He kept us informed of our son's appendectomy prior to and after the procedure. Bed side manners are always a plus for us and Dr. Baldwin made us feel like family during our emergent visit. As a family and as parents with medical backgrounds, we felt confident in his abilities to operate on our child. Follow up was thorough and always with Dr. Baldwin. He gave us his cell number should we have any questions or concerns; and we used it, sending photos and asking question after the surgery to ensure the well being of our child. He answered and made sure we, as parents and our child, were happy with the progression of the healing process. I would certainly recommend Dr. Baldwin and his staff to family and friends.

Dr Baldwin is a very kind and considerate man and an awesome surgeon. He made my child and myself feel very comfortable. Follow up care and availability was excellent.
