Summer, 2014: Emergency room visit at Integris Health in Edmond is where we encountered Dr. Boke. My son had fallen and need several stitches in his forehead. We were in the ER for several hours due to VERY slow response time, an hour in the waiting room, two hours in the exam room, etc. When it was all done, my son got a couple of stiches and we were billed $1480 by Dr. Boke. This amount was in ADDITION to the several thousand dollars the hospital ER department billed for the room. Again, Dr. Boke charged $1480 for about 15-20 minutes of his time and a couple of stiches. Here are the specific charges: Emergency dept. visit, $1048. Repair superficial wound(s), $387. Service provided between 10pm-8am, $45. (I guess that would be overtime charges.)

How on earth does Dr. Boke justify these charges? Again, these charges were in addition to, and billed separately of the emergency room charges.

Saw Dr.Boke at Saint Anthonys emergency room. I thought I was having a heart attack. Sat in the waiting area for 1 hour before being seen. I only saw the doc for a few minutes. Was treted for low blood sugar and dehydration and sent away. I left the ER feeling worse than I did when I came in. He never really talked to me about why I recieved the treatment I got. Mostly I dealt with a very angry nurse. She was really pissed off for some reason and was taking it out on me. This visit was three months ago and the back of my hand where the IV was it still sore. If I have a choice I will never go to Saints ER again.
