Karen is good if you put her on a pedestal. If you have ways of being that don’t align with her worldview or if you don’t sit in awe of her, she will seem disinterested and disengaged in the sessions. I tried hard to make it work but she was awful. I tried to give her feedback but she was defensive. She wants to be idolized or she doesn’t want you as a client.

I have only wonderful things to say about Karen. Her compassion helped me through some of my darkest days during infertility and pregnancy loss. She is a highly skilled psychologist who taught me to be kind to myself in a way that I never could've learned and applied all on my own. I am a much happier and healthier person now because of her support.

Karen is very skilled, kind and observant. She goes away A LOT and I often find this difficult as a client.

Karen had an enormous impact on my life. I saw her as an individual and then later for relationship counselling. My partner and I found our time with her incredibly helpful. Her style is compassionate, but she will occasionally challenge or teach. And I welcomed both. I've recommended her to many friends, who also had very positive experiences with her. She's truly gifted. The best I've ever worked with.
