Dr. Amster is a great doctor. Hes kind, considerate, and helpful. Been with him many years, as well as my children. His staff is amazing.

You never know what you are going to get with him, or should I say who? One time he will be helpful and listen to you intently and the next he will not want to listen to anything you say and be rude and dismissive. Lately it’s been rude and dismissive.

We've been driving to the TMC for several years after seeing Dr. Amster at the Tilbury Walkin Clinic. Our family Dr. in Chatham had left abruptly. He asked us if we would be interested in coming to his new practice in Tecumseh. He has been very thorough and understanding with our issues as seniors. He recommends specialists in the Windsor area but if we ask him he will send us to Chatham specialists if possible. He diagnosed my polyps before on my gallbladder before they were very painful and sent me for surgery in Leamington where I could get in quickly. I had gallstones and polyps so my gallbladder was removed. During COVID19 the telephone visits are not on schedule. Altogether we are very pleased but the distance from Chatham is a problem as we are seniors.

Dr Amster has been my family doctor for a while at the TMC clinic and now whilst at his private practice. I have never had a negative experience and everyone I talk to who also has him as their doctor has wonderful things to say about his care. He is thorough, knowledgable and fast acting in his care. He answers any and all questions i have had, and his memory is phenomenal.

I have been going here for awhile and it has gotten bad. I am waiting for a specialist and don't know why. My blood reports say all of a sudden there is a problem with one thing that was never an issue before and I am not going to accept there is a problem without a second opinion. My scheduled appointment was late by almost 3 hours and one minute one thing is said then different the next time. I feel that even the current meds I am on aren't necessary as again I didn't have a problem with what I am taking them for previously. Don't know what to think.

Excellent, knowledgeable doctor, who listens to you, and really knows what he is doing, but gets irritated when you start talking about any help with any documentational procedure, without realizing that you are really crying out for help as his front office lady is downright unprofessional, difficult to deal with and simply has a ZERO sense of urgency on your health issue. She does not do ANYTHING on important health matters, including getting a simple requisition from the doctor, even after repeated phone reminders, and then shuts you up with her trademark, "Don't call. I will call you when it is ready." Yes, you guessed it - that call never comes. After repeated phone calls, I finally had to walk over to the Urgent Care Clinic on the floor below and have a doctor there write the requisition for the Ultrasound and the X-Ray that I needed. Very unprofessional to say the least!

I am not sure if the doctor EVEN KNOWS the bad reputation she is bringing to his business.
