I have seen Dr Skeete for 14 years. He is the BEST Optometrist and exceptional person. He truly cares about his patients. His knowledge and communication skills are outstanding. He wants you to understand your eye condition and eye health. I'm so glad he is in Peachtree Corners on Wednesdays. Though I would actually drive anywhere to be treated by him!

Dr. Skeeter is wonderful. I have been seeing him for a number of years and have recommended him to many of my teacher friends as well. An exceptional optometrist and a compassionate and kind man.

Dr, Skeete is far and away the best doctor I have ever met and nothing I can say really does justice to the man: he is extremely intelligent, a compassionate and caring person , and a truly outstanding doctor. Dr. Skeete spends a huge amount of time with me on each visit — at least an hour, often longer. Frequently, we spend time just chatting and catching up on any number of things. He is interested and is interesting; a good combination. Trust me on this: you will like the man. The office staff have bent over backwards to assist me. Equally, I always receive an email and a phone call reminding me of an upcoming appointment. Dr. Skeete genuinely cares, he is professional and he makes an investment in the health and well being of his patients. That is as rare as hens’ teeth in today’s world. If you are looking for a doctor you could not do better.

I am 23 years old with no medical history red flags, and I just had optomap done in 2013. The doctor refused to conduct an eye exam without either dilation or Optomap. It is outrageous that they try to swindle more money out of patients, either through claiming dilation on insurance or forcing the patients to pay $30 for retinal images. Healthcare costs are high enough as it is, and they are certainly not helping people see that eye care is essential and affordable. I was a technician in multiple optometrists offices and there is no need for dilation unless there are risk factors. Also, I have light eyes so my eyes dilate enough on their own in a dark room as do most patients. Thank you for reminding me my past doctor is fantastic and really cares about the patients not just seeing us as people to be taken advantage of. I will wait until an appointment opens up with him.

Absoulutely love Dr. Skeete best optometrist hands down. He really takes the time to build a rapport with the patients and explain to them what is going on with their eyes in ways that they can understand easily. Everytime I see him I know that I am receiving the best care I possibly can for my eye health!

My son has used Dr.J.Skeete for 10.5 years. When Dr Skeete moved his practice from Mall Of GA to Gwinnett Place Mall we followed. Anyone who has a child in sports or plays themselves needs to see this Knowledgeable Doctor. From Little League to Highschool to Collegiate Baseball he has provided superior vision in sports for my son. From vision improved enough for picking up the seams on a baseball in the batter's box to ensuring the maximum depth perception for basketball players,to golf.Dr Skeete has successfully tweaked my sons vision with the best contacts for his sport need. Throughly explaining in layman's terms the "Why's and How's " behind it.My son played 4yrs of college ball and is on his path to pro ball. You can't get that far with out an informed eye Doctor at your side and ultimately God's favor.I encourage any athlete to make a visit to Dr Skeete to improve your vision for your game. His office manager Yaritza has been with him a long time she is pleasant and very helpful.

I have been seeing Dr. Skeete for 6 years and he is AWESOME!!!! He is knowledgable but is even more caring. He remembers that my father is blind and always asks about him and checks me carefully for macular degeneration. He explains foods to eat and precautions to take to protect my eyes. My husband had a childhood injury to one eye and is virtually blind in it. Dr. Skeete is especially cautious to protect his vision. He is more than a doctor to us. He is our friend.

Receptionists in this office are only minimally helpful, but Dr. Skeete is wonderful! He explains exactly what is going on in terms us non-doctors can understand. I only wish he took my insurance(Kaiser), so I don't have to change doctors due to cost ($167 for eye exam compared to only $15 co-pay with my insurance.) I also wish that when I called back with additional concerns that I could have talked with Dr. Skeete instead of with a receptionist.

The doctor was very professional and knowledgable. I had gone in for a contact lens fitting and planned to order my contacts from my insurance company. I had went to settle everything and was told by the girl at the desk that I had to order contacts from them or I couldn't get the contact exam at my insured rate. I told her how my insurance worked but she insisted I was incorrect. I paid for contacts and my wife called to speak to the manager, Yaritza. She said that she has been doing this for years and has dealt with several insurance companies. My wife told her that my insurance would contact her. My insurance informed her that she was incorrect and had them process a refund to my card. They also asked that a copy of my prescription be mailed to me. It has been months and still haven't seen it. Thankfully my insurance contacted them after placing my order to get my prescription. Yaritza was very unprofessional and could have contacted my insurance before insisting I was wrong.
