My two boys had Dr Corina Glover as their pediatrician from birth til about ages 9 & 10, when their dad changed their healthcare coverage. They were not happy about that and have not liked any of the new doctors the've seen since. They still ask about Dr. Glover and say they wish they could see her. One of my sons had asthma and Dr Glover is an expert in Asthma..it is one of her specialties. The other has severe ADHD and associated problems and Dr Glover has always been extremely understanding and knowledgeable about this. She is very skilled not only as a doctor but in being able to connect with kids and parents alike. She always put my kids at ease, even when an uncomfortable exam or procedure was needed. Ther is another female doctor (who's name escapes me at the moment) who usually sees Dr Glover's patients when she is not available. My kids had developed a rapore with her as well, and she I would also recommend her. So you can be sure that if Dr Glover is not available your child will most likely be seeing her partner, who I would also give 5 stars to. Highly, highly recommend Dr Glover, and will go back to her if I can ever get my kids back on a Kaiser Health Plan.

Dr. Glover is patient and warm. She is very calm in her office and is great at comforting a nervous child. I like that she is cautious and will check any abnormality to calm a parent's fears, but she is also cautious in prescribing medications. She considers the risks and allows parents to feel as though they are part of the decision process. She is very cautious in treating common childhood ailments such as ear infections and rashes. She would rather see a child a few times than simply over-prescribe unneeded antibiotics, and yet she always leaves that option open for parents that would lie to explore those options. She is very good at explaining the cause of illness and the reason why a certain treatment is preferred.
