She is friendly and most of the time helpful, but don't expect her staff to be as caring as she is because you'll be disappointed. Getting an appointment is a frustration as 45 to 60 days is the avg. Wait time for an appointment to be available. And if your waiting for test results you'll get a call from one of the many rude nurses and no real information. Dr. Lao is a good doctor but the clinic she's at is a royal pain to deal with.

Dr. Lao has been my doctor for 3 years. She is one of the best doctors around. I can completely trust her diagnosis and treatment plans. Because she is such a great doctor, sometimes it takes a while to get an appointment with her, but it is worth it. My mother and several of my friends also see Dr. Lao. They all agree that she is the best.

After many years of not selecting a primary care provider, just one visit with Dr. Lao made me select her. Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Although I have not had any major health problems, she is an excellent choice for a PCP.
