Dr.Malik is my PCP for the last 16 yrs. I have relocated but I stil come to Reston just because of this DOC. She is amazing, nice, humble, patient and very knowledgable. I feel relax after her visit. One time, I had a an injury with bruises and I missed my appointment but she still let me in which otherwise is not possible with other physician. I highly recommend her. I am not sure why is the complaint for waiting, which is very common if You are visiting a top doctor. She spends time with every patient and never in rush.

Very condescending and rude, I felt like she could care less about my healthcare, and she gave me the impression she was not very knowledgeable when it came to the pharmacology of certain medical problems. I could be more detailed but you should find out on your own rather than depend on my biases. Don't make any other appointments on the same day because you will spend most of your day waiting to see her.

Have been to Dr. Malik for the past 2 years. I have had several issues including neurological, skin (eczema), and allergy. Dr. Malik is very nice, but not too punctual. I will sometimes sit in the office for 20+ minutes before she even sees me. A couple times the lights turned off in the office because I hadn't moved (I had to get up and walk around just to get it to turn back on!) The only thing is I always had to make an appt with her for all my issues ($20 copay each time!) before she sent me off to other multiple other doctors (audiologist, neurologist, optometrist, dermotologist). In general, she's an ok doctor. However it seems she keeps giving me drugs for all my problems instead of trying to find the underlying cause.

She cares more about the policies and procedures than meeting patient needs. for example, I had an unusual problem that I had seen other KP doctors for and all misdiagnosed it. She had me see several specialists and undergo a hospital procedure -- all for which I paid additional. "It's not our policy to help you with expenses," was her response.

She is the best. I have had her for years now and she is the most composed, collected, knowledgeable and calm doctor you will ever find. Like the previous person said, nothing is unimportant for her and she gives the same attention to everyone on everything. No one cares about their patient like she does...be it via phone, email or in person. Because she doesn't rush, her appointments do tend to run late and it is very normal to have to wait to see her, but all your madness wears the moment you meet her...that is the kind of doctor she is. I always try to schedule my appointments either the first for the day or the first after lunch to avoid the wait, but waiting seem to not bother any of her patients. I highly recommend her...you will not regret making the decision to switch to her.

Dr. Malik is AMAZING! She is completely different than any other doctor you will ever go to. She is extremely knowledgeable in the field of medicine, thorough, patient, informative and gives you her undivided attention. Our experience in having her as PCP is going on 12 years. You won't find another doctor with her passion towards her patients, dedication to the field of medicine and her remarkably calm, collected manner. She is an invaluable asset to Kaiser Permanente!

Dr. Malik is knowledgable, helpful, thorough, courteous, and professional. She is never too busy and nothing is too small or unimportant for her to diagnoes. She is great.

I saw Dr. Malik for the first time this week, after seeing two other doctors at Kaiser Permanente the prior week for the same complaint. She was more thorough than the other two by far. Her staff was more careful about taking the vitals, for example making sure my arm was at the proper elevation for taking blood pressure. It was a very busy day, and some other staff were acting stressed, but Dr. Malik was relaxed and taking her time with the exam, prescriptions, and ordering tests, but still not wasting any time.

Dr. Malik is a very helpful and attentive doctor. She is sometimes late for appointments because she is thorough in her evaluations. Seems curious to want to investigate and diagnose problems rather than push you to someone else. Recommended.
